C300 Bumper/Headlight Removal 2010Sport
Anyone know how to remove the headlights on a 2010 C300 Sport? I want to modify the headlights but dont even know where to begin in taking them out. Do I need to remove the bumper? How? Thanks.

There is no DIY for removing the headlight. Apparently, you don't need to COMPLETELY remove the front bumper, but you do need to loosen it? Check out this thread for more information on how to remove it. There are some pictures of the housing outside of the car so you can look at where it secures. There are 3 bolts.

I have not done this myself, but spoolIT85 has (the op of that other thread). He said he has taken step by step pictures, but I have not seen ones yet on how to remove the headlight itself. Perhaps if you ask him he can help you out. I too would be interested in the process. Hope I could offer some assitance.

i didnt take any pictures when i did it, but the process was fairly easy. you take out the grill first and on the left and right side there are two bolts that hold the front end of the bumper on. then on the inside of each front wheel well there are two more bolts, they area bit hard to reach but it is possible. after all those are off there are a bunch of clips on the bottom that should come out fairly easily. after that, there are two bolts and a torx bolt holding each headlight in place. i had my friend help me when putting it all back together because if you do not do it correctly you can get uneven gaps and alignment of the headlights and bumper which doesnt look very good

Here, try this to remove the bumper. There are several clips to release along the bottom and a bolt and bracket center top. There are also two things either side near the lights that hold the grill in place.
Good luck.
Good luck.
