Personally I don't think so.

I don't really see too many women driving C's...I've seen way more driving 3 series
Just looked at the survey...WOW that is by far the worst I've seen! They rated the Beetle at #10?! Really?! The car has a flower vase on the dashboard for crying out loud!

Seems we have a few sexist and insecure men around here...wonder why?
In any event, if you believe your "manhood" is measured by your car, console yourselves. MSN is the last place anyone would look for car advice. Keep in mind the MS stands for Microsoft, so not exactly car enthusiasts. The way their news operation works (I worked at a radio station with a web site), an individual journalist who anoints themselves as the resident "car expert" writes a column and offers it up for publication. It doesn't really matter to them if it's accurate or rational, as long as it generates clickstream activity, and so far, several of you have fallen for it. If you click, they count, and as they count, the rates they charge for advertising on their website can be raised. So, what we have is one writer, who doesn't work for any reputable source of expert car reviews, creating a piece guaranteed to generate enough emotion to get folks to click, and bingo, his employer makes money and he gets rewarded. And, here we are talking about it.......so the terrorists win.

That is the stupidest survey I have ever seen - Chevy Malibu ?
Also, I don't worry too much when I see a woman driving a C class.
My wife often drives my car on the weekends ( I drive her Audi when I go snowboarding since her car has split folding rear seats and mine does not )

Forget about all the VW's, Scions etc., among luxury brands, the C will always be the "chick" car, but why not, it is a reasonably priced, reliable, safe car with moderate power and luxury status. If I had a sister, I would definitely want her driving a C class.
But after 2 years in the C and seeing 5 to 1 women to men in the C, I had to move up to the E550.

Around here, majority of C drivers are women, including my wife.
It's not as much chick car as it is a homo car.

Even MSN didn't know what to say:
"Here's another puzzling choice. Any guesses why?"
I don't think they stand behind their own survey lol
I know for me, I've seen men and women driving a C. It's definitely not a gender specific car by any means.
My girl drives an 09 335i, I doubt they'd say that's a "dude" car. If anything, the C might be a chick magnet. Girls dig the car for sure. It's straight sexy

The list is designed to get 10 clicks for their advertising dollars not to have any semblance of accuracy. They probably used bing statistics to find out which car searches were trending and just threw together a list.

In my area, every c-class is driven by a woman in the mid-30's to mid-40's. The odd time you see a male driving one, it looks out of place. I'd guess 80/20 female to male ratio where I live, but wouldn't be surprised if it was 90/10.

No boxster / slk / 3 series? What about the miata? This poll isn't meant to be taken seriously. You can tell from the captions. It's also quite obvious the C-class seems out of place on the list.
Personally I think the C-class looks quite aggressive and masculine compared to competitors in its class (A4 and 3 series).
