W204's and offsets of wheels

19 X 8.5 and 19 X 9.5. The ad was marked ET45's F&B.
Alex from Need 4 Speed claimed it was "mislabeled" and said it had to be ET40 F&B according to the wheel manufacturer to fit a W204.
I told him he was nuts and that I wanted 45 and 50 and he said I was wrong and not happening. I even referenced this thread as those specs are all over it and he's a sponsor.
He maintains "I'm wrong bro"...
Seems ET40 will be fine up front but ET40 in the back is too aggressive right? I want flush back there, no poke and no rub with 2 adults in the back seat. Will ET40 work back there with a 265 or 255?
Thoughts? Help!!!
I hope someone answers this because I am looking into similar wheel and tire specs and can't seem to get a solid answer either!

Now I just picked up a 2013 C250 and I'm looking to get some rims. I would like them it be a nice stance staggered but not sticking way out. I will be getting my super sports or coilovers first. Most likely coilovers since I had super sports on my 2008. I think 18's or 19's since the 20's were to big on my 2008 and the rears were 20x10 so I had to roll the rear fenders a little when I put the super sports on and it would still rub on bumps.
What are some good sites and or brands to look at. Also trying to decide if I want deep lips or go with a concave setup this time. So when looking at 18x8.5 F 18x9.5 R, and 19x8.5 F 19x9.5 R what would be the ideal offsets? Lower 40's for the front and high 40's in the rear? Thanks a lot I just don't want to buy rims then not be happy and end up buying new ones again down the road.
5x112
HUB 66.5
Front: 20x8.5 et 38 (2in. lip)
Rear: 20x10 et 43 (3 in. lip)
Would these fit? What size tires would I need? Want to drop it also coilovers or super sports.

19x8.5 ET 42
19x10 ET 55
Will this be a nice aggressive staggers stance? Thanks.
-Bbs lm reps 8,5/18" ET 45 front and 9,5/18" ET 43 rear.
I got already some tires, 225/40r18 front and 255/35r18 rear. What do you guys think, does tires fit well and a good set for getting it low with coilovers?
Def don't run more than a 265/30/19 in the back as you'll be rubbing.

Looks great btw.
@dudeitsmattx - Yeah, you should be good, but you also have the freedom with coils to adjust
Car looks 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Do rub? I'm running 3sdm 0.01 19x8.5 et 40 225/35/19 and 19x9.5 et42 245/35/19 and I rub when I 2 person in the back seat and I'm not even lowered yet.
