I plan on mounting Micheline Pilot Super Sports after my ECU tune and I'm still confused if these tires are considered "skinny" or not.

Tire/wheel sizes will be:
Fronts: 235/40-18x8.5+45
Rears: 265/35-18x9.5+45

I'll be running this setup on stock suspension, however I have the dynamic handling package (which I'm assuming is the same with the exception of the magnetic dampers).
Some seem to run 235/265 fine on 19's using similar offsets while others rub. I'm assuming I'll be right at the borderline and it'll purely be dependent on the tire selection at this point, but I plan on using the Micheline Pilot Super Sports regardless.

I'm positive the fronts will be fine...but is 265/35-18x9.5+45 too optimistic for the rear with the tire selection above?

Tires will look good on rims, and as long as running on stock suspension you will most likely not rub, but if you want to lower youll want to go +55 int the rear.

Because the 255 are just a little to skinny and if I hit a pot hole my lip would be done!

Did the c300 badge have holes behind it or was it just stuck on?

I've been putting together a list of some nice fitting wheels for our cars, and comparing how they fit versus the stock wheels. I figure that this will help at least somebody else out in the future

This is my car, and is my reference point for this post.

Stock offsets and widths for me are: F 17x7.5 et47. Rear 17x8.5 et58

I tried to put this in order so it goes from a less aggressive to more aggressive offset. Tried to use only non-C63 cars, as they have wider front fenders (not sure about the rear) than my C300 does.

The bolded numbers represent the change in measurement compared to my stock 17" wheels, on the outer surface of the wheel only.

I'm keeping stock suspension and the OEM 17" wheels, I think that the best set up for me might be running F +12mm / R+17mm hubcentric and wheelcentric spacers, as any poke on stock wheels/tires/suspension would look terrible lol. Let me know what you guys think

On stock suspension, it should work fine. Lowered, depending on tire choice, will probably rub.

I bought the tires and rims (17x8 +35) one season old for altogether $550 CAD and they fit quite well. They do stick out a bit more than the OEM 17inch but still acceptable. I used original nuts as the new rims are also ball sitting.

Good timing on the post for me, your wheels look great. The fronts sit 18mm and the rears sit 17mm farther out than stock. Any rubbing or regrets on the set up?

There's no rubbing at all as you can see from the photos (front and rear) and I'm running these rims with sport suspension (not sure how much it differs from the original one).

New Wheels and Tires

I was finally able to get my new wheels and tires installed Friday. I went with Niche M108 in 18X8 all the way around with a 40 offset. I wrapped them in Hankook S1 Noble2 tires. So far the ride is much smoother than the previous 17 inch set up.

Where'd you get your lip? And what size tires are you using?

I'm looking at a set of wheels for my snow tires, which all are 245/40-17 and work well on the stock rims....

The wheels I am looking at are Front & Rear: 17x8.0" Offset: Front & Rear: +38

Think they would work?

Guy says they fit, but I think it better to check with those who know.

The 17x8.0 et38 would be:
15mm farther towards the fender in the front
14mm farther towards the fender in the rear

These should work fine as far as I know

What brand rims do you have? They look sick! I'm looking 2 do same type of rims but in 19x8.5 in the front and 19x9.5 in the rear what do you think is a good drop kit?
