help please.

I have a guy selling me a set of 19inch Forgstars off of his 2008 C63 for a damn good price and I'm curious..how will 19x9 +40 front 19x10 +45 rear with 235/35/19 front and 255/35/19 rear.. look on my*2012*C250*sedan.... I'm new to this whole wheel off set etc...so would this fit well or what sizes should I be looking for??? Or would this even work on my ride?? Looking for a semi aggressive look but want to be able to drop it a good amount without a scrubbing

Anything can be "made" to fit honestly. But are you willing to roll/shave fenders, run a semi stretch tire, or increase negative camber to fit properly?

Because I think the only thing worse than extreme hellaflush is mexiflush when the wheel AND tire poke outside the fender haha.

From what I've been reading that could be made to fit ok. Use the pics and specs from the members here and input into the offset calculator on 1010tires.com to determine the deviations.

I'm trying to avoid modifying the fenders in any way but still fill up the wheel gap as well as lower it 2 to 3 inches lower than the stock height..

You may need to have someone post up an alignment chart to figure out what the static camber looks like with that much of a drop. Increasing the negative camber may be required. Again though, I would use 1010tires to see the amount of "poke" vs some of the other setups that have been posted.

As FFM said. You'll be poking with those offsets. I'm running ET40 on a 8.5" in the front and I'm flush. Same with the back you want to be around ET55 to avoid them poking on a 10" wide. The C63 got wider fenders so they get away with it.

My advice would be take your time and do it right. Nothing worse than realizing you could have done "______" and then chuck spacers in haha.

I'm looking at the Vorsteiner wheels myself. Looks like they actually did their research and offer proper offsets for our cars.

Pains me to purchase a wheel over +40mm offset

I like that functional but aesthetically pleasing zone of 25-40 offset zone with the proper wheel widths.

Is there a way you can try them on? My offset on my 8.5 19" front is 42 and rear 9.5 is 48. They are really close to the set you want buy. The issue might be rubbing on the inside rather than the fender.

This is another useful site.

Perfect flush non poking and safe to lower on super sports on 19" rims are the following setup.

F 19 x 8.5" wide ET35 225/35/19
R 19 x 9.5" wide ET40 255/30/19

Skinny series tires like Accelera Phi or any other brand is tire that is considered narrow type.

As for 10" wide rear rim lowest offset to run without poking is ET50 but will also need a skinny tire.

19x?" What width front and rear? It will determine the offset you'll need not to rub. If they are 8.5" & 9.5" then you are not going to have any issues.

Any reason you want to run a spacer? I would avoid running a spacer and just get the wheels in the correct offset.

Yeah you should be fine. If you look at the bottom of page 52 you'll see how it looks with 19x8.5 ET40 & 19x9.5 ET42 on mine. Running the same size tires as you are looking at. Yours are higher offset so they will sit further in.

Well if yours are ET48 and you throw on 5mm spacers, then you'll end up with ET43 which is almost identical to mine. You might have to get some camber adjustment done to avoid occasional rubs. I have to do it to mine.

See my post #1302 regarding rubbing. If 2010 Pre facelift is the same as 2012 facelift then 48 offset for the rear is perfect. I wouldn't put any spacer. This is with 265/30 tires.

Stock. But when the car was full load the rear was tucking a little over the tire and did not rub during my 2 hour drive. From the way it looks now, it looks like it will rub but when the car lowers it cambers slightly.

I would do a search on SS spring as some have reported no significant drop and you just screw up your stock shocks.

True.. but a lot of people here are satisfied with h&r ss.. im still thinking about it though.. I mean the fitment I have on now looks good and all (we have same fitment) but I know I can drop it a little more..

19s with h&r ss is just really nice to me.. lol.. its not a big drop but I can def tell the difference..

I don't think it's possible to not get a decent drop out of the SS. Just put them on my Sport 4matic and stock rear pads and still got roughly an inch drop out of it.

Yup, just confirmed with a tape measure to the pics I took prior to the install. Dropped around .750" the day off and settled another .250"+ since which was 5 days ago.

So looks like 1.2 front and 1.1 rear roughly.
