it will look like this and it wont rub with 4 passengers and lowering.
That car is the exact look I want. I think I found the post of the specs and I have been going off that. I don't plan on lowering or changing the coils which seams like most people do. Is the ride going to be that much different with 19's?
Going with these size tires
225 35 19 Front
255 30 19 Rear
I removed the lower chrome trim and wrapped the chrome window trim in matte black. I have a chrome single bar c63 style grill and chrome tips/ chrome strip in the rear so I wanted chrome rims to bring it together.
I bought these
No the ride won't really change much with the 19" since you will be running correct tire size. People just tend to get the springs or coils to lower the right height to remove unwanted wheel gap.
A couple of pics from last year, sorry i only got the front shot. Not sure how low is this but i know i can lower it more.
Holly crap!! Yeah I remember PMing you. Man that's way lower then I can go. I'm max low on my fronts and almost in the rear. So you have not cut the springs or remove anything? I'm sure the 18's also make it a little lower then having 19's.

Yeah no cut springs or anything. Are you on H&R's?
H&R aren't really meant to go low. The struts are revalved bilsteins essentially which also aren't known for going low. Something without an adjustable shock body in general will be limited. Being at the bottom of the adjustment isn't ideal either. I ran my H&R's on our Volvo with no rear spring perch lol, they blew after 5 years :P
Lol well from what I read on research the H&Rs go lower then the other brands like KW and stuff. No one chimed in on how low the Megan's go in the forum. And I still have my spring perches in the rear and some adjusting room. Before I removed the spring pads I had them lowered all the way and it was not low enough, still had too much of a wheel gap. And 5 years that's longer then I plan on having my car. Maybe someone will want to trade Megan's for my H&Rs lol.
Yeah KW definitely aren't known for going low either. But they ride so nice. This is lowered on KW V3 and was pretty much slammed so I assume it's based on application.
*MyManDan26 - You can reuse your factory ones, buy new ones, or if you don't want them you don't have to put them on.. You will just have to deal with that stupid light on the dash.
*newmbmarko - Yes those will fit. They will not be flush with the fenders they will be a little sunk-in like the factory wheels.

I want to have my factory set of wheels ready to go so when winter comes around I can just pop them back on. In that case would probably just be smarter to buy 4 new ones.
$2500 for c63 wheels might as well buy a set of 3 piece wheels IMO.

There's always freight shipping service. Less $$$ than fedex or ups.
