W204's and offsets of wheels
Greetings from Jakarta, Indonesia. I recently acquired a Classic-trim C200 Kompressor and would like to upsize the wheels with either of these specs:
Front 18" x 8" ET35
Rear 18" x 9" ET35
Or
Front 18" x 8.5" ET35
Rear 18" x 9.5" ET35
Planned tyres are 225/40 and 255/35 fronts and rears respectively.
Will both specs clear the fenders? There may be 3 persons in the back on some occassions. Not planning to lower it; however may change the spring pads if the gap becomes too large.
Thanks for your help.
I run 19x8.5" ET35 and 19x9.5" ET40 they are the max you want to run for these widths.
Front:
18x8 (or 18x9)
ET options: 35/42/45
Rear:
18x9
ET options: 35/38/42/45
I already got two 225/40 hankook tyres. (front)
255/35 rear?
Later I'm runnig with -30mm H&R springs...
I want wheels close to fender without rub/rolled fenders. Thnx!
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

current has the stock sports suspension and 18" amg wheels setup. 255 rears and 225 fronts, i would like to keep the staggered fit.
im interested in setting it up on 20s or 19s, trying to figure out the best option as i want it looking tough, and 20s are tough. especially concave or dished. or the 19s options is the mesh style amgs from c63 my15'
i do need to drive it daily, so im happy to bump out the inside of the gards or negative camber a little so its still suitable. in this case it sounds like 19s as bigger tread means more kms.
i am looking at dropping it a little bit on some kind of concave wheel, see attached image below:

any recommendations on setups with offset info would be greatly appreciated as i still want my rims to fit in nicely and not stick out.
thanks in advance..new mb owner.

The seller says they're ET42, front AND rear, although both sources I've found say 43. Are these going to poke on my '12 c250 sport?
Oh, and suspension is currently stock, and will probably remain that way.
planning to put on these on my 2008 w204 c180
front 19x8.5
rear 19x9.5
offset=38~40
(dealer had higher offset of 40++)
gonna fit them with front - 235 35 19 and rear - 265 30 19
planning to install h&r spring too.
so the rear will have a concave feel while the front is flat look (staggered??)
will my car have problem with these setup?
will there be rubbing?
Just got confirmation from dealer, they have 2 different offset for the wheels.
either ET30 or ET43
ET30 sound impossible for my ride, the wheels will be "poking" dangerously outward, given my design.
Correct me if I'm wrong
I guess with the wheel size mentioned, it shd look good with ET43 on my ride.
Cheers!
This is a daily driver for me, and I have no intention of doing any racing or stunt driving in it, lol. My wheel upgrade will be for cosmetic appearance only. That said, I think I've narrowed it down to 18's with HR ss springs and 18's, or 19's and no drop. I've seen many of both on here, and I'm happy with the appearance of both. I do, however, want to keep the ride as comfy as possible. So my question is, to those who have tried both, which option would give me the more comfortable ride, the 19's and stock suspension, or the 18's with a drop? Please don't offer advice if you haven't tried both options, but thanks in advance for any responses.
Here are the specs:
Michelin PSS tires
Front - 235/35/19 et45
Rear - 265/30/19 et45
I want to lower the car but my front sits pretty low as it is just want to rear to sit maybe with H&R SS but not sure if I will rub maybe H&R sports? Also do I need new rear pads?
New at lowering and am confused as hell after reading and seeing all the combinations out there in all the posts.
19x8.5 +40 with 245/35/19 RE-11
19x10 +55 with 275/30/19 RE-11
My C63 is lowered on PSS10 suspension, front fenders rolled, rears are stock.
Will it rub?
How do you like the PSS10's? I assume they are for the regular C-Class correct?

Clearly the tires won't be of any help to me, just curious if I will have fitment issues or how it might look on the c 250
Also just saw these:

I just happen to be making a trip to SoCal next week anyway, and I would rather buy from another mbworld member. From what I've been reading, it looks like the rears will work at stock height, but those fronts look like they would be an awfully tight fit? Would I need to go to a 235 or even 225 in the fronts with these wheels?
Sorry if I seem all over the place, I'm just looking for a reasonably priced way to get some new shoes on my new ride.
