where to get black wood trim replacement
i just picked up a used c350 with the black birdseye maple trim. everything is great except for a crack in one of the door trims. short of going to the dealer and paying huge $$ for one, anyone know a good source for a replacement part?

thanks for the reply... i tried that but unfortunately i couldn't find any kits that had the actual door trim panel as a replacement. they all only had the kind that goes over existing panels.

I'm pretty sure it will be easier, cheaper, and match better if you have the crack fixed instead of trying to replace the trim.. that should just be a little urethane and some polish work, depending on how bad the crack.

Individual pieces are about 80-100 Euros a piece plus installation maybe 1 hour at the dealers.
Try to smart repair it first and if that doesnt work then get a genuine replacement part. There are no oem quality parts available.

not a cpo...
i will look into repair, but i am skeptical that it won't just make it worse. it's a long crack, maybe 6- 8 inches, and it seems to be through the wood although it might just be the reflection of the crack in the finish.
i didn't notice it for several days because it was either dark out or i had passengers obscuring my view. but when the light hits it from the front, you can see a long crack.
i'm also trying my luck in the classifieds...
thanks for the replies so far.

Actually since I'm not parting out, it would be cheaper for you to order it from here
