2011 C300 4matic Sport Sedan w/ 4-spoke steering wheel?
I am brand new to Mercedes and to this site. I just bought a 2011 C300 Sport Sedan and lo and behold it has a 4-spoke steering wheel. I thought all the Sport sedans come with 3-spoke steering wheels.
Has anyone heard of this? Did the factory install the wrong steering wheel?
Thanks!

First off - welcome and congratulations. The 4 spoke was/is an optional accessory, albeit an expensive one at $550. So, to answer your questions - Yes I have heard of it and no, it was not a mistake by the factory. See below:

go to page 10/11 and you will see it there

Thank you! But it's weird because the sticker on the car makes no reference to it as an option and I don't see any additional charge for it. Could it be part of the Nav +4 package that I did buy as an option?

I am not sure, but it should be listed as an accessory on the window sticker (if it came from the factory that way). With other cars, I have seen dealers add accessories and then add a separate sticker with those onto the window, but I cannot speak for yours in particular. I do not think its part of the Nav + 4 option, but I wouldnt know for sure, I have the COMAND option.

I just looked at pages 10/11 in the accessory brochure you were kind enough to forward to me. That is an optional 4-spoke wood and leather steering wheel upgrade for the Luxury sedan. I have a basic 4-spoke steering wheel in my Sport sedan!

It's beige! But I wanted the 3-spoke and just didn't notice it was 4-spoke until this morning. Thank you Toast! (although that makes little sense, I'm sure you must be right).

It makes sense when you know the backstory. In the first year of the W204, the beige (or almond/mocha as MB calls it) interior wasn't available on the Sport model so they didn't make a brown 3-spoke steering wheel, only black 3-spoke wheels to go with the black and grey/black interiors. When they later started offering the beige interior on the Sport model, they didn't go back and make a brown 3-spoke wheel so all Sport models with beige interiors get a 4-spoke wheel.
