Getting new wheels...but different Offset. Which is correct?
I'm looking at getting a set of wheels but which has the correct specs? ![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
Size: 18 X 8.5" front & rear
Bolt Pattern: 5 X 112
Offset: 45 mm front & rear OR Offset: 35?
Weight: 22 lbs each
Hub Bore: 66.6
I'm looking at the same style but from 2 different stores. The Offset is what is different.
Also is the correct tire size 225/40/18? I want the tire sidewall to be flush with the wheel. And I want to make sure that the width is the same as I have now with my 17" sport wheels.

cool thanks.
I think i'm set on getting 225/40R18 for the front.
Now for the rear I want the keep a stock ride feel and the Look (width) so Not sure between the following:
235/40R18, or 245/35R18, or 255/35R18?
Another note: I came across 4 NEW PIRELLI PZERO NERO M&S TIRES (235/40R18) for $450.
Any comments?

Why not find something that is staggered so it will remain close to stock plus it will look better too

^ the current rear wheel width is 8.5" and I wanted to keep that at least the same (for the look). the Front didn't matter since really can't see it. If I was going with a different wheel, like something with a lip, I def. would have gone staggered. But I simply went with the AMG 5 Star like this:

...And also, this way I can rotate the tire fron to back and get more use out of them

Use this to see what will happen to the new wheels. Also our car runs two very different ET front to back. You can keep the 8.5 inch width on the wheel but you will need to run a higher ET to not make your car look like the wheels are poking out the back of the car (unless you want that). Lower the offset the further it will poke out of the car.

Pair those with Toyo Proxes or Nitto Invos
