ddmtuning is a widely used brand here...

PM Michael (Azn_Optics) because he will be releasing his new line of HID kits pretty soon... It's currently undergoing testing right now... He has the 35w and 55w kit

ddm tuning, cheap as hell too like 40-50 bux, they're plug and play, but u do got to do some modifications to the fog light housing to hid those... search for diy hid fogs should come up...

yeah they are very easy to install.. probably took an hour total.. just have to drill/mod the bulb access cap. I used a combination of a soldering iron to melt away the grab tab in the middle, smooth it out, then drill a hole for the grommet.

They are a must do IMO if you do not have the stock xenons.. I would recommend the 4500 or 4600 k kit (whichever it is) @ 35w .. also, buy the error canceller harness.

is the link I have bookmarked for my own reference. Stuff I jotted down from that thread: We use H7 bulbs for low beam. The optional error cancelers are recommended, especially for the 35w kit from what I've gathered. No relay harness needed. You will need to drill holes into the dust caps, so if you're leasing the car, there's a link to buy another set.

With that being said, the popular DDM Digital Slim Ballast HID kit seems currently unavailable on their site. The original link now shows "no page found". Maybe they're currently out of stock?

When im on the site, im trying to find the H7 HID kit in the search with no luck...When i go to HID kits on the left and once it directs me there i still cant find anything, but i do see the error cancellers.... Do they offer any other HID H7 kits other than the slim?

EDIT: I found it. Did anyone order the HID harness, HID adapter cables, and mounting brackets from DDM also?

I'll be carrying 5000K and 8000K, 35W and 55W, H7 and H11 kits at comparable pricing to DDM Tuning sometime by mid-late Feb.

+1 Would we need error cancellors for the AZN_Optics HID kits? Also, I remember reading 55w flushes out colors, and I was planning on 55w 6000k low beams and 35w 5000k for fogs for that reason. Would 55w 5000k still match 35w 5000k?

@HotelCrazy For the DDM HID kits, you only need the kit (ballast and bulb) and error cancellors. There's no need for the harness, adapter cables, and mounting brackets.

Plug and play without having to buy all those extra stuff you need for DDM Tuning. with 55w, you should get more output lumen, but shouldn't effect your kelvin rating.

I read that DDM is slowly walking away from selling HIDs. Perfect timing for you

I've been happy with DDM but their life time warranty process isn't everything that it's made out to be. Over a week ago my passenger side light stopped working - so I called DDM and was told that I would have to ship out my defective bulb and then wait for a replacement to ship out. Basically, I'd be driving without fully functioning low beams for roughly 2 to 3 weeks. I decided to just purchase a pair of bulbs for $15 + $15 shipping () hoping that I could get them ASAP. It only took DDM ONE week to fulfill the order and now it's going to take another week for me to receive them via FedEx, from California... Oh, and I am not 100% sure that it's the actual bulb rather than a bad ballast. DDM Tech Support stated that it's usually the bulb that goes bad. Normally, I would have double checked to see if the other functioning bulb works on the passenger side, but it's FREEZING cold outside and I don't have the patience, at the moment.

TL;DR I've been driving without a working low beam for 2 weeks because DDM sucks.

I'm running the DDM slim ballasts with some other brand of 4200k bulb..cant remember where I got them. The DDM 4500k's still weren't as OEM as I was going for.
