How should i get my spoilers painted for my Steel Gray Metallic W204?
I am ordering a roof spoiler and a 3 pc Brabus style spoiler. Should i get them painted to match the car in Steel Gray Metallic or would glossy black be a nice touch (Front grille is the C63 style all black and rear emblem is black)? Thanks for your input. I cant decide what would look best

Looks nice, though you should paint the diffuser part of the bumper flat black, it will really make those fins stand out and give it a nice sporty look!

Color patterns is a subjective taste as long you don't go to the extreme

I have a steel gray... For me it looks a lot better if the 3 piece spoiler is painted body color since we already have a dark colored car... 3 piece spoiler painted in black or carbon fiber would blend better on a light colored car which gives it a contrasting effect. The roof spoiler you can go with black if you have plans of tinting your windows to a darker shade like 15% or less

I've gotten split responses. We put it up against the car as it came, in CF, walked around, stood back, and looked and it, and decided to paint. The CF was dark (like black) and the details and shapes got lost in the dark and the shadows and essentially disappeared. Painting lightened the appearance and made it pop more. I have no other CF, don't plan any, and I always liked the monochrome "dipped look"...just my preference.

I would do it in gloss black. I just love the gloss black look with white or gray.. Just my .02 cents lol. It makes it stand out more.

Once it's in place, the fit is excellent, but it took two guys at the body shop to "finesse" it into place. Directions were good, but they had to apply quite a bit of effort. It clearly seems not to be a one person job, and having the car at about shoulder height seems to optimize leverage to work it into position.
