I used to use tinted halogen bulbs that would give my headlights a blue color. They were like $15 but the light output was garbage, I couldn't see anything at night. I know you said not to tell you this, but you should really just get a HID kit. I got a digital slim ballast (newer version) from DDM for like $35. You really can't go wrong. If your just looking for a whiter bulb and not blue, you can go with sylvania silverstars or something. Just make sure you order it in an H7. That would definitely be the easiest way to go. And you could install it yourself in under 5 minutes. There is a DIY write-up on this.
EDIT: Silverstar does indeed offer bulbs to change them out. I don't know who you spoke to... They are the H7 55W ones. But they are expensive, I would just get Philips Crystalvisions and save some money.

Hella makes an H7 that is nice and white and easily avaiable on LI. I bought mine at Advantage Auto Parts, you can most likely talk them into putting them in.

get a plug and play hid kit. www.ddmtuning.com $50 shipped you can't go wrong. There is plenty of options in colors from 4000k to 10,000K the lower number the more White it is the higher the number the Bluer / purplish range.

Diamond Vision is the better option compared to Crystal Vision imo, but CV is much easier to source.

don't waste your time with new halogen bulbs.. I was in the same boat as you.. didnt want to do an HID kit, just kept buying blueish bulbs... the light output sucked badly. I finally just gave the ddm 4500k 35w kit a shot and I can't believe I didnt do it sooner. I love not only the look but the light output is what should have come stock on this car, not as an option.

Mercedes Benz C300 Sport
I have Philips Diamond Vision 5000K
It gives out a bluish hue when the bulbs are warming up but it turns to bright white after a few minutes
It's hard to find though... You'll have a better chance in finding one from Ebay or ipmart.com

He probably meant Advance Auto Parts. Their website only shows 1 type of H7 Bulbs for your car branded "APC The X Bulb Super White H7"
http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web..._A|GRP2044____
I don't think they changed the headlight bulb size (H7) for the 2011 models but the link provided above for the Crystal Visions on Amazon will fit. If your looking locally then you'll most likely want to head to an arftermarket parts store (performance shop) I'm on the west coast but do business with shops on the east coast (tri-state area) daily.
If you want HID's for cheap locally check out :
http://tspny.com/
They can install for you as well.
For just replacement bulbs on Halogen capsules look up any auto performance shop locally and they either have it in stock or can point you in the right direction locally.
Give these guys a call:
http://www.vraceworks.com/
Ask them for NON HID H7 bulbs. If they don't have it in stock ask them to point you to someone who has them in stock locally.
