HRE P40 & KW V3

Just wanted to share some pictures. Big thanks to James at ACG for helping me with the setup. HRE P40 - Gloss Charcoal 19x8.5 et48 22.6 lbs, and 19x9.5 et50 23.8lbs. 245 front Hankook tires. 275 rear Hankook tires. KW V3 suspension. The rear passenger tire slightly rubs. I'm working with James to correct and may change to a 265 tire. The ride quality is incredible. I was really really worried about ride quality which is one reason I went with the KW suspension. I have to say the ride is better than stock. As is always the case, the pictures just don't do it justice. A gift from my loving wife who says I need to stop spending money now...

Thanks. Hard to say exactly how much its lowered. I didn't measure before... Overall ride height seems to be about an inch lower. I'd guess the suspension is lowered about 1.5 inches and increased about .5 inches from the 19 inch rims and tires netting to about an inch or so. There's about half a finger width gap between the top of the tire and the bottom of the fender opening.

Thanks. Right now the rears are 275. No rubbing on the driver side. Very slight rubbing on the passenger side. The plan is to swap to a 265, unless we can easily determine where its rubbing and possibly fix. Will a 265 tire look stretched on a 9.5 inch rim?

Oh I see that doesn't sound too bad. I'm trying to decide whether to get the H&R Coilovers, KW Street Comfort, or the KW V3. I want a decent ride quality as stock but I also want to good drop.

Anybody now the major differences between the comforts and V3?

You'll be fine with 265. Quite a few members on here are running the same tire size on a 9.5 width wheel. I believe Mike (azn_c300) is even running 255 and he says his is mildly stretched.

Congrats- your set-up looks amazing. 265 is the perfect tire size for a 9.5" rim and it should not look stretched

I'm running 265 tires on 9.5" wheels and it's not stretched at all. Here's a quick iPhone pic.
