car vibrates when breaks are hot.. is it normal?

car vibrates when breaks are hot.. is it normal?

i noticed when im going down hill with the breaks half way for a while car start vibrates badly

is it some kind of protection system or something wrong with my car?



and yea i know its not a good way to break but i dod it to test that weird problem

Not to be rude, but what exactly do you mean, like do you press the brakes while accelerating downhill, or only brake while going downhill? Also my car has not vibrated while braking under any circumstances until now.

hmm thats wierd.. have you changed your brakes to other ones other than oem? Hopefully someone can help who had this problem.

Other than feeling it through the pedal, is the vibration mostly through the steering column or through the seat? One suspect is warped rotor(s).

That length of time riding the brakes (notice the spelling, not breaks) is a very long time and you are heating up the discs unnecessarily.

Shift down to a lower gear and stay off the brakes.

brakes are OEM, the whole car vibrates =\

ill take it to the dealer tomorrow, just thought ill ask to make sure there isnt something im now know of

It can also be transfer of pad material to the discs because of overheating which should be visible. Whatever it is, the damage is done and the dealer should be able to correct it but be prepared to open your wallet.

Sounds like warped discs or a problem with your pads. You should get it checked. Vibration is not normal.
