Tracker-immobiliser
Hi
I'm extending my insurance and i was asked if my car has any tracker or factory fitted immobiliser.
My question is does my car have any TRACKER system in case it was stolen?
I believe it comes with factory fitted alarm as i once heard it when my friend was in car and i locked the doors....
It seems it might reduce the insurance a bit
Note: My car is UK specific and since purchasing it I have noted couple of differences compare to US models including right hand drive :P

The tracking system is installed by the dealer. I opted for the lifetime subscription around £400.00 back in 2007

He's in the UK which may make all the difference with tracking. But the alarm system does cut off the starter circuit, known elsewhere as an immobilizer.

Installed by the dealer on both my UK spec Mercedes. Subscription costs was about a wash with insurance savings, so obviously keep both subscribed -
