I wonder what she was doing not to notice that her trunk was open? On the bright side atleast it got closed.

I hope she didn't have anything valuable in the trunk that could have been damaged by the liquid wax agent and water

She may not have even noticed, being that the trunk design allows you to see objects in the rear view, even if the trunk is popped. It would still be obvious that the trunk is open, but not for some.

On a side note, why don't we have these in NYC I am tired of paying $30 to get an ALL hand, brushless, car wash.

those look nice and dandy and though are better than the brush car washes, is not all that its made up to be. The wash recycles the water and depending on how fine the dirt particles are, may not be stopped by the filters. Then those particles are sprayed at high velocity onto your car

Also, the recorder should have been honking a lot more. Definitely an a$$ move.

+1 to that. I would not have bothered to take my phone out to record but rather jump out of the car and run to close that car's trunk before the spraying began.

I also love how she turns the car on and rolls a little while the spraying is still going on. We are definately not dealing with a bright individual here.

I did that once. Lean over to input the code and my knee hit the trunk button. BAD location for a trunk button.

Lucky my six sense kicked in and I notice something moved behind my car and closed it before I drove in.

We have one of those style washes near where I live, and let me tell you the wash quality is terrible. i tried it once last year when i wanted to get some pollen off my car but didnt have time to get out buckets and do it myself. payed 14 dollars and ended up with stripes of clean areas and dirty areas, along with water spots all over my rear windshield.

That's crazy. Here in Texas we have car wash everywhere. Wash tub is pricey but they hand dry your car after.

I normally pay $7 minus the secret code heehehe $5 and get the delux wash just to wash off dust and road crapp.

Some car wash will do $5 for 25min of wash

Haha, classic. I don't know how she didn't know her trunk was open, the entire infotainment screen would have been red if it was opened while she was driving telling her it was open, and then when she put it in park, it would have just told her it was open without the red screen. Perhaps she didn't want to get out and get wet, haha.

@AlexLev near the hospital I work at (Mercy Hosptial) in Rockville centre on long Island, there is a place that does night time wash (exterior only, which is fine for me, because all they usually do is dump out the mats anyway) for only $5.95 + tax (with tip it comes to about $9. They do a great job, and I am done within 10-15 minutes.

yeah and she panicked i can tell she pressed the brake after the trunk closed means she didnt understand what the noise was from the trunk slamming shut! hahah
