How do you delete all contacts?
Is there a quick and easy way to delete all of your phone contacts? I looked today but didn't see one.

I think I just went in and reset the system. all you may lose are radio presets and stored navigation points/maybe HDD music.. ??

Go into the Phone menu and choose "Delete External Data."

Deleting external Data

Tel Tel Delete External Data.

A prompt appears asking whether the
data should be deleted.

Select Yes or No.

If you select Yes all personal data are
then deleted from the phone book.

on my 2011 GLK in the MMI>Phone>Options > not available

Thanks, i completely forgot how to do this although i had to do it when me lease was up on the 8008. Just got a new android and couldn't figure it out. will try now

the manual doesn't have the procedure either, just how to delete one by one. Did a reset of the head unit instead.....
