2011 C300 Sport
What determines what fog lights I get?!
Sorry if this is a silly/stupid question, but I have seen pictures and vehicles on the lot for 2011 c300 Sports with circular fog lights and the horizontal type. I don't remember this being an option or part of the Lighting package, so what determines which type I get? I just ordered my car a week ago.

My original thinking was that the circular fog lights are only on c300 Luxury model - is this true, and if so does this just mean the sale below is mislabeled?

In the first picture you have the Sports model (AMG package) and in the second it's the luxury model

Another round of ICE
The first picture shows a C Class with fog lights. The second one shows LED daytime running lights, which are not fog lights and do not offer fog light performance. For 2012, MBUSA indicated there will no longer be any fog lights.

I know that my sister got the sport amg package and got the LED DRL. There is no way you can get the fog lights on a 2011 sport. And if you can get fogs on the luxury, they aren't the same as the sport and look more oval and disgusting. Just get the sport package and swap out the grille for the luxury and the hood star ornament. It looks sick, see pic in my signature for it.

So with 2011 c300 sport I should be getting the LED DTRs - awesome thanks guys

Yes, however, if you order one and it doesn't come with DRL, don't blame me. Haha. Just ask your dealer or sales person for final confirmation.
