Need Immediate Help (Wheel fitment dilemma)
I purchased a new set of wheels from Element Wheels
Wheels showed up and looked fantastic, btw they are Concept One RS8
link: http://www.elementwheels.com/proddet...cors8%2D1995hs
Putting on 2010 C300 4matic sport
Before purchasing, I looked everywhere; according to the wheel fitment article on this board, the specs were right in line with suggested sizing.
Front: 19x8.5 (47mm) 235/35/19
Rear: 19x9.5 (50mm) 265/30/19
My brother and I jacked the car up today and mounted one wheel on the front; fit perfect, then we mounted one wheel on the rear, DILEMMA!!! I don't think its gonna ****** work!!!!!
There is no tire on the wheel yet, but i placed my hand behind the inner edge of the wheel where it meets the inner fender well and I can just barely slide my index finger (width wise) in between the wheel and the inner fender, after I mount my tire on there I don't think it will work, its gonna have to rub?
So, I'm pretty disappointed right now, the site said the wheels were "Guaranteed to fit" for this vehicle, even went with their recommended tire sizes.
Any suggestions?

The rear tire will be 265/30/19
Drop springs are H&R sport for the 4matic car.
The only way I see it working is if the tire is completely flush with outer edge of the wheel, I am pretty nervous about it. Thanks for the comments though.

For example, how the hell would these wheels work
There is a very good chance that my wheels will not clear the inner fender with a 50mm offset and 9.5" wide.
These wheels are 58mm offset at 10" wide, if mine barely clear, how the heck will these, yet the site claims "guaranteed to fit"?

Mercguard where are you from? You can actually get the Concept One RS8 19's for less than a thousand here in CA

zeroseven, could you please post pics of these cars, I would like to see what it looks like mounted on the car with tires. I am unsure of what to do. I found a set of vossen wheels that I really like for about $500 more. They are the ones I posted earlier, but I am confused with offset. The higher the number, the closer the wheel sits to the inner fender? If I am struggling with fitting a +50 9.5", how the hell can a +58 10" clear without an issue? I know those wheels work because I have seen pictures of them on the car.

mercguard, I ordered the exact same wheel (Concept RS8 hypersilver) and fitment 19x9.5 +50 et wrapped in 275/30/19s Bridgestones (wider tire), lowered with H&R Sport Springs! and they fit fine with more room to drop! now mount that thing and enjoy your wheels!

The higher the offset number the more it'll be pushed inside. A MRR GT1 wheel has a rear offset of 48 but it still fits our cars well with no rubbing or need of folding fender liners so you should be perfectly fine with an offset of 50
Browse through the wheel offset thread... you will find wheels of different offsets from the very modest to the extreme (flushed look).

those wheels will fit fine. The rear will sit almost flush with the fender at 45mm, if you want them under the fender you need a 50ish offset for the rears. If your not dropping the car at all 45 will be fine and look good
