194 V3 5000K Gel coats are now in stock and ready to ship.

Also, a sneak peak at something that we've been working on that you'd be hard pressed to find elsewhere... 3D LED bulb. This is the latest technology in LED lighting with a true continuous 360 degree diode along the side in a cap dome structure.

So what's the difference between the V3 and V4 194 wedges?

I'm looking to replace my front and rear dome, plate and trunk. Thanks.

I'll see about getting some new pics, but V3 model has been out for a while.

V3 burn at cooler temps compared to V4 which makes them more durable. Most applications they're fine, but what we're noticing is that with eyebrows, temps, especially during surging, can reach red line because you have two bulbs in the same housing sitting on top of hot low beams. V4s are brighter however which some customer really prefer.

Soooo, should one wait for the V4 gel 194's to be finalized and available, or use the v3 gels? I am looking to do my eyebrows for the first time, and last. Looking for optimized brightness and minimal probability of issues long term. My car has P2 package with oem xenon bulbs, 5000k LEDs your best matching bulb for my desired application? Thanks....

Would recommend V3 Gel for eyebrows to be honest. You lose out on roughly 15% lumen, but because eyebrow housing is refracted, it's not as noticeable. And you gain in durability by running cooler.

"lose 15% lumen" vs. V4?? Also, are all the v3 194 bulbs you sell gel coated? Dont recall your website specifically mentioning gel coated or non. Dont want to order the wrong item. Lastly, are the previous posted photos of the silver w204 with all the issues v3 gel, or non? Thanks again...

Yes, V4 are 15% brighter than V3. This isn't to say the V3 aren't bright though, just not as bright. All v3s are now gel coated. We just got them in stock yesterday so give us a few days to update the verbiage on the website. The previous pics of vehicles with V3 will still be the same output. The only two modifications we made to the old V3 was the gel and also we changed the SMD from CREE to Toyoda Gosei which actually have a better track record for that size SMD. The color output and lumen is the same so previous pictures are still valid.

Yes, 5000K would be the best match for stock OEM xenons. The LEDs will be slightly more white though as OEM xenons are around 4500K.

Why didn't you guys just gel-coat the V4s from the start, rather than the V3s? We would then therefore get brighter and cooler operating LEDs.

Thank you for all the info..... Once the v4's have been finalized and available to the public, will you discontinue the v3 or continue to market/sell both? (Still undecided)

V4s came out before we decided on gel formula that worked well. Actually all our V4 8000K have been adapted to gel as well and we had a small batch of gel V4 5000K as well, but those are out now. And the Gel isn't what makes the LED cooler, it's the LED configuration. The Gel is a safeguard to help against heat and especially heat brought on by surge events. The V4 is still inherently a brighter and hotter unit.

We can put a discount package together for you. It'll actually be fairly similar to the pre-facelifted since you have the sedan model and not coupe. You just won't have front map lights. LMK if interested.

V4s are available to public. Don't think of V4 as newer or better than V3. They're simply different design models, each with their own pros and cons. We've been thinking of going back to our previous business model and just keeping one version (best blend of form and function in our opinion) to not confuse our customers, but we've received requests for more variants to the more popular 194 wedge like other vendors which is why we tried giving you options. However, with more options, it seems we've received more and more confused customers who can't decide which to choose.

the V4 gel brightness is awesome
used to have v3 gel version on eyelid and they lasted more than 1.5 years.
i personally prefer v4 gel 5000k & v3 gel 8000k which add a slight different compare to OEM xenon headlight.

btw Mike, my morimoto 5000k D1s start to lean towards 4500k output, hope it will get to 5000k soon

We also have our H7 and H11 Plasma LEDs in and are looking for volunteers to test these at cost. These are not canbus units and will need external resistors spliced in. PM me for more details.

Jesus this guy is good. One of my LEDs went out for my license plate and I sent him a PM. Literally a few hours later got a reply telling me to email his email. An hour later I had a reply to my email that a replacement was going to be shipped out.

Awesome work man!

You've got the old V2s I see from way back. The CREE 5050 SMDs had some longevity issues we've noticed which is why we swapped to Toyoda Gosei 5050 SMDs. You're technically out of warranty, but I'll take care of you. Shoot me an email at aznoptics@gmail.com.

For anyone that is looking to get anything from AZNOptics, I highly recommend it. I got mine a few months back and they worked perfect. Recently one of them have been going bad so I emailed him and I got a response within two hours. After a few more quick email, he ended up sending me a replacement bulb. I have never seen such good customer service from some company like this. I bought a set of LED from eBay and it took him a few days to reply (just ended up returning those).

PS; once you go LED, you'll never go back
