New Exhaust video and mods!

A few people have Pmed me asking for pictures of my car after my modifications and of my exhaust.

I only added in a magnaflow x-pipe to the exhaust and here is a link to my YouTube video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_CqWhMh8oY

There is an HD version available if anyone is interested. At the end of the clip I did a slight walk-around where you can catch a glimpse of some mods (with many more on the way).

Some to list:
35% tints all the way around (nothing on windshield)
Clear sidemarkers
"Tint" Lamin-X over my headlights and foglights
AZN's 8000k LED swap for eyebrows and sidemarkers
55w DDM 8000k HID kit
SL-style grille

Thanks, I was thinking about maybe removing the mufflers as well and adding in some straight pipes? I want to try to make the car sound like it does when you do a cold start, but remain that way when warmed.

There are some sound clips of x-pipe no mufflers on here. Here's the sound clip I made after I had it installed at a muffler shop. I am running x-pipe straight pipe and no muffler as well.

I had this done before hand and just to warn you it is EXTREMELY LOUD. If you don't mind cabin noise all the time and like the high decibal noise then its the way to go. I had to remove it cuz it got ricey taking girls out at night and hearing a loud noise in the cabin... reminded myself I was driving a Mercedes and not a Civic.

From all the X-pipe video/ audio clips I have seen yours by far has the best audio quality... This post may be good for folks who are interested in installing an x-pipe.

Mine already sounds good just with an x-pipe. I have seen a C300 in person with an x-pipe and straight pipe (muffler delete)... I still prefer the sound with mufflers on

Thanks for the feedback and input guys. I am probably going to keep the mufflers on then -- at least for now. Its probably better that way anyway since the car is a lease... lol.

@ ZeroSeven - Thanks, I always hate crappy youtube videos of exhaust where the person either barely revs the car, or the sound quality is p.o.s. And I can say that this is almost Exactly what it sounds like in person.

Looks and sounds good. Where did you get the lamin-x tint for the head lights?

Straight from www.Lamin-X.com

I would provide a direct link but their site is acting up right now. Just search for mercedes-Benz C-class.

I have the "Tint" color on the fogs and headlights. The headlights were much harder than the foglights. I didn't use a hairdryer - I wish I had. And I would also recommend spritzing the outside of the film with water when installing as well to help the squeegee slid across the film.
