First attempt with DA Polisher - c200K
Well I bit the bullet and ordered a DA polisher with the Menza polish kit. Tested it on the mrs' Yaris first lol then i gave it ago on the w204. I have to say it looks fantastic...but its bloody hard work....the W204 took me around a day and a half to complete! Having watched me sweat over the merc for two days my bro decided to give his e93 a quick wash and wax before we decided to take some pics....enjoy.
p.s yes i know the merc needs a drop....an eibach pro kit is on order along with an amg rear boot spoiler ;-)

nicely done. Which DA are you using? And which Menzerna products and what pads? Always interested in hearing what others use for their 204s.
Currently for my 204, I three step it with Menzerna SIP, PF, and 85RD on LC pads on a PC.

Avantgarde grill with Classic lower trim pieces do not work for me.
Btw, taking off the front bumper only takes you 1,5 hours and can be done by 1 person by himself...

A black car really stands out when kept clean with it's streak free shine

thanks for the comments guys...have to say black definately is the most sexy color but it is also the hardest to keep clean!
@ sirius9 - I am from the west midlands.
@ AZN - I bought this kit:
www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polishing-machines/das-6-pro-dual-action-polisher/das-6-pro-dual-action-polisher-menzerna-intro-kit/prod_720.html
I only did a two stage pass, next time i might go with the higher grade cutting compound as i found the medium was hard work with this paint.
@lingnoi - I did buy the sport pack for this bumper which included mesh style inserts for the bumper but i didnt like them! and imo i think the sport grill suits the standard lower grills better as they also have three slats.

Yeah, our ceramic clear coat is pretty hard, which means you'll need a compound with more cut or step up your pad aggressiveness. Menzerna IP has a 3.3 rated cut and has the least amount of cut for their polishing/compounding line. Even power finish which I use for my second step has a 3.5 rated cut. SIP, which I recommend has a 3.8 rated cut.
