Apparently he doesn't know how to punch the gas. You're talking about a car that should put car lengths on you immediately. It doesn't matter how his transmission shifted with automatic, the g37 would walk all over the c300 anyday of the week.

Yea there's no way you would've stood a chance in a legit race. He either was sleeping or let off the gas and coasted. I just had a G37 sedan as a loaner. My C300 doesn't come close to the pick-up and acceleration that thing had...from a dead stop or a roll. So seeing that you raced a G37 coupe...I gotta call BS on this story or total driver error

The G prolly ran Regular gas. That should dramtically decrease his HP. But overall g37 should sh*t on the c300 (4matic or not). Or the G got like 10 heads in his whip LOL

You guys r making it seem like i need to make up a story about my brothers car. I kno how slow c300 is but we all know infiniti is all about pickup. I drove that car too and its trash but even the dude was surprised. I dont have a reason to make up a story for anyones entertainment. His car was slow as **** and ive never had a g37 walk on me. I own a 335xi and kill that car. My brothers c300 keeps up better than the infiniti

the guy downshifting to third gear. He knew what he was doingn and it wasnt like i got the jump on him once but twice. We were both in third gear. That car doesnt pull as much as the c does after 60. Btw i dont know many ppl that say a g37 is faster than the g35

I'm sorry to tell you this, but I call BS on this. If your brother has a C300 automatic and he also has 4 matic, that car is a slug. There is no way he could have beaten a G37. A 335xi beating a G37, I can see that happening as the power output is about the same, but it's not happening in a c300. If you pulled ahead, the guy must be using regular gas to save money and/or he didn't floor it.

Thats the way i see it. When i owned my c350 i used to carry a camera on the headrest. I caught every race anyways i just thought i could vent a little. No harm

I am not saying you're making it up, just that clearly the foot on the gas pedal was missing or else there is no way a c300 would beat a g37. We are talking about 2 cars that are not even close in performance. The G37 is by far faster than a c300 in every form of acceleration.

Not even if all the planets and moon were all aligned, would it stand a chance against a g35/g37, unless some unusual circumstance is encountered..

So to say your brother's c300 keeps up better than the g37 to your 335xi is absolute blasphemy.

Its funny i didnt think i can beat it neither. I have raced it through traffic but never in a straight line. And yes my brothers c300 keeps up better with my 335 and ill try to recordn i have a boy with a g37 so we'll race all three

We have a couple guys out here in NNJ we meet up w here and there and mess w the cars. theres a G35 stock, a G37S (stick only) a A4 3.2 my previous C350 (ecu tune) a C300 rwd and Suburu Sti and a few others. I have seen the G35 and G37S run a hundred times against eachother, the 37 is faster, by a good car length. The 3.2 audi keeps up to my C350 almost, its close. Off the line I jump the Gs but they get me right at the 1/4 mile, I take them on a rolling start, the suburu is fast off the line, I smoke the C300 by 2 lengths maybe 3, Ive driven them all and vice versa. The G cars smoke the rwd C300 by 3-4 lengths at 1/4 mile and the same on a rolling start. And these are runs where the owner who KNOWS how to run his car is prepped and ready, If im not right at my 4k rpm mark ready to jump on it the C350 dont go. I practiced launching for days, ran it in dyno mode (I hope u know what that is) and everything else.

I congatulate you on smokin a G car, I love smoking other cars, especially all the A4s and the JDM crap that cant touch me, and the Is250s and such, but I hate having my *** handed to me by a 335i stock, or worst with a ECU tune, and suburus hooked up, etc. that **** hurts us MB owners, same money as a nice 350 and its as fast as an M3 almost or a subura you get $$ left over. I want a C twin turbo to come out or a kompressor model in a 3.5, something over 300hp at least w some workability. Other cars like a 335 you can just ECU and its a beast, these C classes you need 5 grand for a half a second, it sucks. Thank god I love MB otherwise forget it.....we're mostly show ad no go unless you pony up for an AMG

I wouldnt say i smoked him i only stayed ahead of him about a couple of feet. but we were both surprised. I have a jb4 335 right now and i keep up with m3's easy until about 110-120 then they pull. Subarus i usually handle same with the infiniti. The 370z used to beat me when i was stock but not anymore

i could not agree more with everything you just said, i love smoking the few cars that are c350's can smoke but as soon as a 335i/evo/wrx shows up its all over. i really hope a turbo/SC C-class is in the making, i use to own a TT350z and im missing the turbos immensely lol im even contemplation trading my 350 for a 135i or m1 coupe in a years time.

Im not saying you didnt beat the g37, but I had a g35 and I had a c300. The c300 was a yugo compared to the G35. I test drove some G37s and they were effing AMAZING. Rocket ships!

All I know is that I got a C300 as a loaner during my last services and while a nice car with adequate power, it's not what I'd call quick and I there is nothing that tells me that it would have a prayer against a G37.

yea it definitely does pick up quick but thats it. It doesn't keep pulling after that. On my way home driving my 335, a c300 was keeping up till 120

I raced my friend's G37x and she kept pulling me by a car n a half. ( shes a tall blonde ) embarrassing I know. but when she was in the benz she said it drives better n handles better n brakes better, but a 3.0 vs a 3.7 in two cars that are identical in weight and size the 3.7 will win.

I am not saying ur full of ****. but the driver of the car could of been a bad driver.
