Lol, why are you guys all hating on the OP?!?! Has no one read my post (its the second one on this thread). I leased a G37S coupe 2008 the day it came out for 24 months and then jumped into my c300 4matic and I have explained exactly how this is possible - because it is, specifically with a 2008 automatic. It really doesn't pull well on the highway for a "330 hp" car. No matter how you floor it, in which gear. The 5-speed is just garbage. The g35 sedan my sister leased the same time period was actually faster...

Actually I smashed on a G37 just yesterday, from what i could tell it was stock and it was on the freeway....i was doing 65mph and he kept trying to pass me so he took the shoulder and i let him pass for the sake of an accident but once he got back into the lanes we went at it, he had a slight jump at first and i took a small lead after that until about 100mph, after that he couldnt keep up. My C350 isnt modded much performance wise...X pipe and straight after cats which i know is no hp and ram air intakes which i honestly dont know if it add any hp.

The G37 must have been a crappy driver. End of story, in no situation of any kind should a c300 pull on a g37 at any speed or rpm

I drove 2 ~ 3 times G35 as a loaner when my QX4 was in service. G35 (not even G37) is simply too quick and fast. It really pushed my back hard. Now I have C300 but don't get why G37 can be a loser to C300.

Well G35 is a lot lighter and a G37 has more cajones on paper but id prob stick with a G35 and mod the crap out of it instead of the G37. I don't know how a G37 lost to a C300 and idk how I beat one in my C350 but it happened :P I beat a 350Z from a dead stop before too...it was stock and was manual

that must have been a real crappy driver then bc my 06 350z (when it was stock) was a lot quicker than my c350 is.

It was an 04' stock had something like 275hp, he did have ****ty tires that gave him a bad start but hey a win is a win, ill take it haha

Simple. Remove and replace G37 driver with one who know how to drive his junk. G37 would win all day everyday.

Its a simple solution but not practical or realistic :/ what makes racing racing, not always about the cars...how u know how to get the most out of them.

Ehhhh not realistic either :/ hahaha I don't race often, the G37 was an ******* and didn't speed after I beat him and the 350Z was my friend on an abandoned air strip so it was safe haha

The G37 has 100 hp more. Its driver error on his part. Nothing to be proud of honestly. A C-Class is not a fast car and is a pig. A 3 year old could push the pedal down in a G37 and smoke a C300 all day. If it makes you feel better than more power to you, but he clearly did not know how to drive his VQ platform

Sorry to burst your bubble, but a C350 still couldnt touch a G37 or a G35 (298 HP) Once again, most G drivers do not know how to drive their grocery getters....

Well i did it yesterday :P say what u like, crappy driver, no tires, blown engine....I won...it happened...may not happen to every time but it did then so there is no bubble to be burst hahaha

If it makes you sleep better mr 260+ HP...No point in arguing with someone who personally owns a W204 platform and a VQ platform. You raced against a slow driver, not a slow car.

When I raced him the same thing happened every time. I kept getting a lead and staying ahead. I would start pulling at around 100 like I do on every infiniti. It doesn't have anything to do with the driver. I can let my 5yr old brother punch the gas and still beat that g37. And this dude's car was modded. He had tune, chip, intake, and exhaust.
