hid kit clarification (stock halogen projector/canada spec)

hey guys i hate to bring the topic up, as i know it has been posted numerous times but ive yet to find a solid answer for what i need.. so heres the situation:

my girlfriend just bought a 2008 c230 with halogen projectors stock.

now she wants the *look* of xenon lights, ive exhausted the option of buying c300 headlights as the cost as you guys know is outrageous, and ive also looked away from the idea of retro fitting the lights with s2000 projectors as i cant find someone closer to me that is reputable at retro fitting(west coast Canada).

so im of the understanding that this is the HID kit that is recommended:

http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DD...ast-35W-or-55W

so then the questions as to the pull down menus:
55w-yes
bulb type- H7
bulb temp-6000? closest to stock xenon?
HID harness-?
Error eliminator- yes im assuming
adapter cables- ?

now canada spec has the halogen projector running always as the DRL, so does the error eliminator ensure no flickering or too low of power to the headlight?

and will i need to take the car to the benz dealer to get them to do any diagnostic settings?

thanks in advance for the help on the topic, and maybe the information should get posted into the how to's? would make the topic a lot less brought up maybe?

thanks guys.

Could removing the fuse of the DRL module work? Instead of the wiring harness??

thanks mixed fruits, now also been reading around and a few people have said the ddm kit uses cheap parts which is why they can get such a low sell price on their kits. how does it compare to the IjdmTOY kit?

The iJDM stuff really isn't worth it price-wise. DDM, you have maybe a 1/5 chance of getting a dud and then being screwed over during customer service. AZN_Optics just came out with an HID Kit, and Michael is more than likely to back up his products should you run into issues with them. Seeing as he's a fellow W204 enthusiast, he cares for your car just as much as, if not more than he does for selling an HID Kit :P Might wanna check him out.

I'll have my H7, H11, and 9006 kits available end of the month after I hear back from my live testers of my integrated error cancelling canbus ballasts. Worse case I'll just go back to my external error canceller, but I'm always trying to look for ways to make install as easy as possible

^^ you installed an hid kit and it does flicker?

did you get the canbus or error eliminating kit?

is your drl the halogen projector?

becuase i played with the lights a bit and it seems to me that there is no *seperate* drl its just the low beam running non stop. but im not sure if there is a power difference there..
