Hit and Run C300
Just thought I would post some pictures of my C300 that was involved in a hit and run.
Any ideas on what this my cost to fix?
The car was pushed back about five feet an up onto the curb.

Sorry for what happened to your car.
It might be best if you run it through your insurance and just pay the deductible.
There's quite a bit of damage there. OEM parts alone would be at least a couple of thousand dollars.
Good luck!

Yeah, just get a good shop that does MBs regularly and get your insurance to fix it ASAP. You want to enjoy your car again. I can tell it looks gorgeous. I'm sure before you know it, things will be all shiny and perfect again. Good luck!

that suuuuuucks. whoever hit it clipped it pretty good. I would def run throught insurance. At just a hood, fender, bumper cover, light assembly, and the support your looking around 3k, and thats what you can see no telling whats underneath

If you have collision, she'll be fixed and you just pay your deductible.
I am not at work so I do not have access to a Missouri auto contract.....sorry....
However, if your auto policy has UMPD (the key is the PD) you may have zero deductible.
You get to chose who fixes your car.
File a police report too.

I got a hit an run at my school, the idiot with a CRV baacked up into the back passanger door, it cost 3500 for the new door and paint.
I only had to pay a 100$ deductible and insurance covered the rest. Most people are covered by hit and runs

If your insurance policy includes uninsured motorists coverage, part of your collision deductible may be be waived.
Be sure to go to an MB experienced shop of your choice and don't let your insurer steer you to one of their choice. And an MB dealer's body shop is not necessarily any better than anyone else.

If his policy has uninsured motorist PROPERTY damage he will have coverage and at little to no deductible. - There will be no reduction of collision deductible unless he has a policy written in a state other than MO. Off the top of my head, I can think of just three or four states who waive coll deductible for hit and run losses - CA MASS, OR and WA.
Otherwise his collision coverage will cover the entire loss, up the the ACV, minus his deductible.
Many consumers incorrectly think their auto insurance policy will pay for physical damage caused by a uninsured motorist. This UMPD coverage is available in just a handful of locations in the US.

2010 E350 4Matic ML350 on order
My wife, driving our new C280 (1500 miles) in 1998, fell asleep at the wheel and ran into a truck pulling a large trailer. She was fine, with the airbags going off and she managed to recover. The car, however didn't fare so well. It looked alot like yours, but the damage continued to the driver's door as well. My insurance company (USAA) paid out almost $25,000 to get it fixed. The parts weren't readily available because it was a new car and it took about 7 1/2 months to get it fixed. Mercedes paid for a rental car and picked up my car payments for the last five months. I was told that they eventually shut down the assembly line in order to get the part they needed.
Good luck!

2011 C300 4matic, 2015 Porsche Macan S, 2006 R500 (sold)
My wife had an accident this week with her W204 and the damage is very similiar as yours. The major items are 1 non xenon headlamp (500+), 1 front bumper (800+), 1 driver side fender (700+), 1 fog light (200+) and 1 wheel (400+). Sure there are many more small items needed to be replaced and the estimate comes out to be a tag over $5K.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Also a hit & run - 2011 C300 was 2 months old!
Sorry to hear about your accident. I was also in a hit and run, in my 2 month old 2011 C300. $12,000 in damage.
Over the last Christmas holiday I was out of state visiting family, and one afternoon some idiot coming toward me made a left-hand turn directly in front of me. My right front hit his right rear. I was going about 35mph but slammed on the brakes and slowed enough before the collision so the airbags didn't go off (would have cost more if they did; the tow truck driver told me a fraction of an inch more and they would have popped.) It took out my tire, wheel, and right side door didn't open cleanly (so maybe a bit more expensive than yours).
The guy initially pulled over, and as I was checking that my two passengers were OK the guy started speeding away! I was angry about the accident, and pretty shook up, but the fact that he started taking off made it 1,000 times worse! I locked in on his license plate and started shouting out the plate number over and over, while my passengers frantically searched for a pen and paper. (Two weeks earlier I got eyeglasses for the first time; wouldn't have been able to read the plate if I hadn't.)
I got a copy of the police report a few days later and discovered they caught the guy that night at 11:30pm. He was an 82yo man, and claimed that it wasn't a hit and run. He told the police that he stopped and waited around for over an hour and no police ever showed up. (Liar!). Fortunately, a witness pulled over and filled out a police report. Since I had a witness and it (truly) was a hit and run, my insurance company waived my deductible.
I had the repair done at an MB dealer in the area. They were great, kept me informed, did a great job, and the car felt like new when I got it back. It did take exactly 1 month to fix which was a bummer.

Ouch! Sorry to hear bud
The coverage should be under Comprehensive coverage (Part of your Collision coverage). Comprehensive coverage (any incident where your not physically there) Hit/Run, Vandalism, theft, fire & flood all are part of comprehensive. At least that's what it is for me under State Farm. My old car was also hit/run and it went under comprehensive. The deductible is shared with coll though. They send out an adjuster to take pics and price up how much they "think" the damage will cost to repair but they give you an option to bring it to any body shop of your choice.
Standard comp coverage is included in collision but to save money some choose to have it removed if they park in garages and what not.
