sirus/xm radio issue
Whats up fellas. I have a lot of static coming out of the speaker periodically when I am listening to the sirus/xm radio after the channel conversion was done. Does anybody have the same issue or is something else causing this?

Not static for me, but high pitched scratching. Very bad on day one of the conversion, but has since almost gone away completely. Every once in a while, I'll hear it, but far and few between now...

Thanks man. I guess I will wait and see if it stops. Good to know that it is not the car and I don't have to take it in.

Sounds a bit strange to me.
I think you can go online and have them send a new authorization signal.
An aside that may have nothing to do with your situation is that somehow, Sirius got my account number wrong on my account. Don't know why it would have changed. Copy the Sirius Account Number off of your display and compare it to the number online. Don't know if the number might somehow have to do with the frequency authorized but its worth a shot.
Best of luck and let us know how this plays out.

For a refresh signal, just call Sirius's automated system from the car with your ESN handy....866-635-8634...and be ready to tune back to channel 184. Also, be ready to sit still outside for about 10 minutes until the signal shows up...the screen will show "Acquiring Signal" briefly when that happens and then revert to normal programming.
