Not sure why store does that
I bought a set of wheels from one of the sponsor here and instead of what I ask (4-18x8.5 with 45ET), they send me something totally different (2-18x8.5 with 40ET and 2- 18x9.5 with 44ET). Just came back from the shop this morning after a test fit and both front and rear are sticking out. They will definitely rub the fenders.
I am going to call them today and ask for a full refund. Sometimes, I really don't understand why store does that. If they don't have what I need, why they just tell me, so we don't get into a mess like that.
This is also really screwing me since I have already bought the tires from tire rack and it will cost me about $140 for the shipping both ways if I need to return them. My wife car is also waiting for the wheels to get out of the body shop due to one wheel was cracked from an accident.
Sorry... just need to vent!

Get in touch with the vendor and have them exchange, they made the mistake by sending you the wrong wheels they are responsible for all the shipping charges.
Not that it matters cause you didnt get what you ordered but............they will NOT rub. I bet my benz on it. I have 3 sets of rims I rotated on my ride and I have 10" wide rears with a 40mm offset 275/35/19 and it doesnt rub. It does stick out past the fenders, but you gotta remember the suspension swings upwards, not straight up. You can simply block out one side and let the card down easy on the lift. It will bottom out and clear by a half an inch Id bet. I also run 35mm offset with a 18x9.5 rear on 255/40/18 and they clear too. they also stick out. If you like teh look of the wheels and the stagger just mount them and keep them. they will clear. otherwise the sponsor will have to eat the shipping and make things right......

To me, I thought it is a clear case. I want this and you send me something different. Refund or Exchange.
It should be a reasonable claim if you didn't received what you ordered... mix up sometimes do happen but Im sure they will accommodate the shipping costs to return the incorrect wheel size back to them.
I think its clear and easy to. U ordered X and got Y, simple. I wonder if they make those in 45et at 8.5 size. I dont think Ive ever seen them that high in a 8.5, I know the 9.5 is 44ET. I see them on ebay all the time, they have alot of euro 63 and 26 wheels all the time. Mostly staggered though, thats what 99% of people get probably, but either way they screwed up. let us know what happens, I hope they make it right on their dime not yours......

Don't be too sure. I am going to talk to the store manager tomorrow and give them a chance to fix it before I start disclose all the details. Totally frustrated and they really need to value other people's time.

Just got a call from another salesperson (who also manages our purchase for his company here) and he is going to shipped me the right offset wheels without any out of pocket charge.
It looks like the company is a fine business and my problem is really tied back to the salesperson that managed my original purchase.
Anyway, fingers cross and there will be no last minute change.
