Like my retrofit? I have a 25% off code from theretrofitsource.com! You can get the same thing I got (morimoto mini h1 projectors)
Code is IH8MUD25(case sensitive)
You can call them also and they will apply the code for you! Hopefully this gets more people motivated to do a retrofit! Also, heat gun is safer than the oven if you are scared

My question to you got lost n the shuffle...
I see you retrofitted the halogen high beam/DRL with projectors. Did you retro the low beams as well?
Honest question here... will you actually use the retro'd highs/DRL? Looks cool for sure having dual projectors/gattling guns, but the lows do all the work in normal driving no?
Again, just an honest question...

Holy Lumens Batman!!!
Definitely never thought of that before, but on paper it seems like it'd work and you'd have all the light you need and then some. Overkill, IMO, but it may just work, assuming you bought two identical HID kits w/ four matching bulbs. You'll have quite a bit of adjusting/aiming to do since you'll have two stair-step cut-off shields overlapping each other. Hopefully you bought the re-based H7 bulbs from TRS because they advertise those to be of equal length to the stock halogens, thereby working well in the stock projectors. Otherwise, using regular bulbs that come with HID kits will give you a hot mess of a beam pattern. You GOTTA post pics after the final install!!!

Lord have Merc-edes... Are you sure that's even legal???
I guess if they're aimed properly, you should be OK so I too would be interested in seeing the cutoff!

^^^yea your diy's are great.
I was wondering if anybody with the oem xenon headlights have tried this??? I'm gonna be doing this with a heatgun and I have the oem xenon's...is there anything I should be cautious of?
Do you have to sand the chrome before you paint or do you just paint on top of it?
I was thinkin about applying some sealant when closing up the housing. Can anybody recommend a good sealant to use? Silicone???
Thanks in advance.

This is exactly how I did it. I was a little impatient and tried to open them up at 6 minutes. No bueno. Make sure you take those four clips off first or else you will be . The masking off is the longest part that I found, but that's all paint jobs.
