It fucsk with your wheel bearings (larger spacers)...ask my how I know. =) Besides that they are all for show to get the perfect fitment. Most people want one or the other.

Question Spacers

Just my 2 cents: Agree about hubcentric spacers - if you are going to use spacers. But nobody has mentioned the lug bolts...

Adding spacers reduces the available thread depth to secure the wheel unless they are changed for longer ones. Never have seen these offered - do MB have longer bolts from another model that could be used? Whats the experience of you guys?

Adding weight is directionally incorrect and a wide range of properly fitting great wheel choices exists which allows avoiding this type of weight band-aid approach for no other real benefit.
A wheel spacer is a small aluminum ring

A wheel adapter is large and heavy.

bolt length is a must have. too long and you'll actually bite into the inside of the hub, too short and not enough bite and alot of stress. there are several size benz bolts and head shapes, the classice acorn is most popular, the ball head is too, thats what my rims take. The width and thread pitch is mostly standard the length comes in different millimeters
