Would the 2009 facelift LED wing mirror's fit?

I have autofolding heated wing mirror's on my 2008,but would the newer facelift 2009 LED mirror's be a direct swap for mine or would more coding/mod's be required?

You must buy the facelift mirrors with the same options and they will fit direct, with no coding.

If you buy the US version, the folding feature will be gone. The Euro mirrors retain the folding function but they are expensive and are a plug-in for a 2008. I did this a while back.

Since you use the term wing mirrors, I assume you are in the UK?

Thank you for your reply, yes i'm in the UK and my mirror's already autofold via my keyfob,I only want to change as the original mirror's are so damn big and ugly, the facelift one's seem smaller and have the added bonus of being LED.I'm going to go ahead and buy them then!

My replacement mirrors came from Amsterdam and had convex mirrors on both sides. I couldn't tolerate this on the driver's side so bought a flat glass from my dealer for a huge price. The total cost for the conversion was.....exciting.

You can install them yourself by removing a couple of panels without taking the entire door panel off.

Hello again,i've got the mirror's and they are in fantastic condition and the right colour! One seem's to be in the folded position, can this be manually folded back out or will it correct it's self when wired up?I got lucky with the mirror's as I paid £190 delivered for them!

Just restore it to the normal position. They can be manually moved in keeping with pedestrian protection laws.

Were these new or used? The price is very good and a lot less than I paid for a new pair.

Just an update,my car was rear ended by a 40ft Wagon and the wagon came off worse!Anyway my car's back to it's former glory and it's time to fit these mirror's,could you please tell me what's required to install the mirror's as I can see a plastic grille infront of the mounting bolt's,is it as simple as pulling this off and undoing the bolt's?

Well it did'nt go as easy as I thought, the mirror's I have bought have a white and black connector and the original one's have the black and white one' as well but the white one's are connected to the module inside the door(only has two wire's which lead to a block/bid resistor type thing)the original black connector had two wire spliced into it,I will post some pic's and also the foam molding on the door where the mirror fit's is thicker so I could'nt get the new mirror to fit flush, did anyone have to modify the wiring /but some new foam insert's to get it to work?

Here are pic's:-

1)Picture of both type's of connector's,the white and black are the new led facelift connector's and the black only(note the extra two spliced wire's)are from the old one.

2)Door module showing wiring of existing mirror's,note the white connector is going to some sort of box as is the two extra wire's coming off the black connector,it could be that the newer mirror's has the module built in?

Look's like i'll have to get rid of the foam on the new mirror's as it does'nt match with the door one's,anyone who did this swap ever run into this wiring problem?

Remove the wiring and the motor from the old mirror and install it to the new one its easy. You must buy the foam from dealer for facelift mirrors

Mirrors have two foam, one is on the mirror and one on the door,if you buy used facelift mirrors, you must change the door foam, to fit them, because most seller dont sent the door foam, the cost is low its about 6$ each.
