Megan Racing coilovers

As the above post says, they're not the WORST... But they're also not the best. It really depends on what you want out of your W204, to be honest. If you just want to lower the car, and end up w/ a stiffer ride then Ksport, Megan, BC Racing, Stance, etc are all fine.

if your on a budget get them and all coilovers do the same in lowering your car and ride comfort. The more expensive ones like KW or Bilstein your basically paying for the reputation and quality. It is up to you what you want on your ride. GL

I see a handful of threads about megan coilovers, but I haven't seen anyone actually put them on their car. Well, I got a good deal on barely used coilovers so went to a shop yesterday and had them put in. The pics were taken with a blackberry so the quality is terrible. Out of curiosity, I'm gonna try the lowest settings one day and see what its capable of.

I never put in springs or any other coilovers so I have nothing to compare to, but the ride quality is fine; I'm trying to get it as close to stock as I can. I haven't experimented but i have it at the softest setting.

I had a great experience with Megan coilovers when I used to have my IS350.
I eventually had them in an air suspension setup where I used the struts.
Used them for 10K miles and 5K miles on the air suspension. Great quality, no problems at all.
Definitely gets my vote for anyone who is thinking of getting them.

More info and pics of the coilovers, how is the ride, quality parts?

There is one issue with the coilovers. According to the tech, there's perhaps a rubber component missing for the part in the picture attached. But the tech was resourceful though and came up with a solution for the missing piece, which would eliminate the noise of metal hitting against metal. As mentioned before, I bought these slightly used so maybe the prior owner didn't include them, but the tech speculated that it never came with it.
This is only day two, but I haven't noticed a significant drop in ride quality. On the softest setting, it's pretty damn close to stock. The tech stated that these coilovers have the ability to go real low, so I'll try and make the adjustment one day to see. I'll most likely bring it back to the shop coz doing the adjustments on the rears are a pain in the ***.

Initially, I had about a one finger gap all around. Today, I got them adjusted and went lower. The fronts have more room for adjustment, but that's about it for the rears.

wow these suckers have adjustable dampers while the H&R's don't and cost about $400 more. I might have to go with megans...

i think i may just have pull the trigger on this
i want decent ride comfort so the fact it has adjustable dampers is always a good sign, if not our W204's what other cars have used megan's cuz honestly ive never heard of them and worried about quality

Thanks everyone for the comments.
To be honest, I never heard of megan either, but I think they're more prevalent in jdms. Also, I saw an IS250 getting megans installed as well while I was in the shop. But yeah, definitely not that many euros from what i've seen.
