DIY Request: Installing Door Handle Chrome Inserts

Hi guys,

I looked at the sticky DIY post for the W204 but couldn't find a DIY on installing the Chrome Inserts. I just bought a White 2009 C300 Sport (CPO), and I think the chrome inserts will look very good on it.

I've also tried google but came up empty.

Any help would be appreciated!

First I'd want to find out how to slide them in place without scratching the door handles. Then I can worry about how they stick

I've seen these at the dealer and on other C300s and they look like a snug fit. They didn't look like they were glued or taped in place.

PS: I'm referring to the OEM part, not aftermarket.

Believe me, I'm not chrome crazy. I can see that the white paint behind the door handle looks worn and I feel like the door handle chrome inserts are the best way to remedy that and keep it from wearing more.

And like I said, I'm keeping it OEM. I'm not big on after-market chroming my car.

either buff them out w some compound OR better yet paint the inserts white and pop them on so they disappear, thats the way Id go. Ive seen the OEM ones they look just like the aftermarket although Im sure they are better quality, a little too flashy for me and I like chrome but only on wheels really
