Peeling on brand new 2011 C300 alloy wheels?
I got out of my car today and as I was walking to the trunk to get my bag out, I noticed what I thought was a smudge on one of the wheels. I looked closer and it's peeling on the inside of one of the spokes. It's a decent size too, about an inch or so. I've had the car for under a month now and nothing has impacted or scratched any of the wheels. I don't remember seeing this problem on any of my old Mercedes, and they used what appear to be the same style wheels.
Am I overreacting or is it reasonable of me to take it back to the dealer and ask them what the deal is with this and ask them to do something about it?

lol. i'll tell u exactly what it is. The people at the dealer that took ur car down from the transport scratched ur rim. Someone bumped ur car into something and they just painted over it. A **** paint job.

Heh, that certainly makes sense. Like I said, I kept my last Mercedes for quite some time and the wheels were still perfect when I finally got rid of it. No scratching, chipping or peeling. This thing is brand new, and the paint is already coming apart in a spot like that? Definitely not cool.
The dealership has been very friendly and helpful in the past, so I'm hoping they don't resist on this one. Now that I've noticed it, it's driving me nuts.
