Thank you, guys. Useful thread. I just did a complete LED conversion on my M-B. Tried LEDs for the high beams, but light output was awful. Just ordered the DiamondVision for high beams and fogs (neither of which I use very much; just for looks). Replaced the stock HIDs with 6,000K HIDs. Much better.

I just purchased a set of Diamond Vision from power bulbs, I hope this turns out better and match azn 5k led's. I purchased a set of DV before and somehow it was pretty much almost the same as the CV that was on my car. Maybe i got a bad one, or a fake one (it was sealed in retail box, and the bulb itself even says from germany. So im crossing my fingers that this will be whiter than the CV's. WIll keep you guys posted

I just put in DiamondVisions for the high beams and fogs....AWESOME!! Much, much better than the LEDs.They match my 6,000K HIDs almost perfectly.

Edit: Ordered from Powerbulbs.com. They are in the UK, but I got them in 2-3 days via FedEx. You can probably find cheaper, but these are the genuine article.

Yea I baught it at power bulbs too since there are people from the forum who have had good experience from there, and they are authorized dealer for phillips and osram. I know ebay is a good place too but just not sure which one are the real deal or fakes.

I installed Crystal Vision in my fogs, they are very bright, much more than OEM, but have a bit a yellowish hue to them, do not match HIDs like I wanted them to. I may eventually try the diamond visions as they seem to be much whiter and I do not need good vision for the fogs.

I used some yellow fogs from here

http://www.luminicsusa.com/

and they were really great. lots of light output. I might try them again for my car this time around too. I don't want HID fogs because it kind of defeats the purpose for me.

+1

I used yellow Lamin-X on my fog lights for practical purposes. I'm not sure about LED DRL's but my 08 C300 fog lights are also back-up turn signals. I'm not quite sure how they will work as turn signals if they're HIDs.

Thinking of these for my headlights, but not sure about life span since I have the daytime running lights on all the time. Thought these sounded better than the Philips.

http://www.powerbulbs.com/us/product...e-h7-two-bulbs

Any input is appreciated.

So who has used impart to buy the phillips diamond vision H7 low beam headlight? I want to buy them for my 2012 c 300. I am looking at the website and it says quantity 1 is $35.19. Is that for 2 bulbs in an original packaging?

Also someone else gave another website powerbulbs.com. Its $11 more than ipmart but its the US and will probably get here sooner. Which website would you guys recommend?

Also reading this forum these are the best bulbs that are closest to HID, since the 2012 housing won't fit an HID kit

sorry for a dummy question...

is this xenon or just xenon look bulbs?
my car came with a halogen lights and i'm thinking of upgrading to a whiter alternative.
thinking of doing all the lights; headlights, fogs, eyelids, and number plate lights.

if this is not real xenon, what about the light output?

Thanks.

Ok so got my shipment today, went hm and installed and it just wasn't what I expected. Yes it is whiter than the CV, but not by much. I had to sit and compare the two. From experience with two sets if DV, it still does not match azn 5k LEDs drl lights. I can't stand the fact that my drl lights are whiter than my headlights so I just swap them out with my old polargs

The LEDs would be a great match for hids, I don't want to go Any higher in K because then I will be loosing too much light output. So to conclude my outcome, DV are whiter than CV, just don't expect it to be a night n day difference between the two.

Has anyone used these with the Lamin-X film on their fogs? I'm thinking about getting these, but have heard they non-LEDs leave burns marks after awhile.

They do get burn marks after a while (just like any other halogen bulb) and the only way to avoid that is to switch to LED bulbs.

Inspection

Did anyone ever have trouble passing an inspection w/ these on? I know they’re technically “illegal” for the US market so just curious to see if anyone was harassed because of them.
