Went for Comand update, left with 2012 Coupe!!!
Seriously, today I went to get the newest firmware loaded in my 2008 Comand. The service guys were taking forever with it. While I waited I got to talking over this ONLY C350 loaded white coupe with my salesman. After taking it for a spin. The next thing I knew, I was buying it. I was blown away with this car! It is very nice.
By the way, the dealer bricked my Comand MM unit in my 2008 while trying to update it. SA told me they need to replace the entire Comand unit? It was stuck in some Diagnostics screen.
It was working when I arrived. It never had any problems before the update attempt. I was trying to get the update to fix the Boost function when using external MP3 players.
I guess I won't have to worry about it any longer though. I will miss the power fold mirrors and the rear sunshade. The new Coupe does not have those items.
If anyone has any questions in regards to the new Coupe let me know.
You could say I'm a little exciting about it.

I also just noticed that the license plate lights are the really bright white color. No longer the yellow color.

The car does look a lot better in person than in photos, though. I did notice the stitching on the vinyl seats.
But, since the coupe version of the W205 has been shown in a German magazine, I would wait, personally.

So for fun, I built two with the options I would choose. A C350 Coupe totalled out to $50835 with a C350 sedan at $49040. I was surprised at the difference of only $1795. Used to be that for every door removed, MB tacked on $10,000.
The stock wheels on the 350 coupe are a new design 17" which look like the 18s with thicker spokes. Almost.
