How to use HOLD function in new C class?
Now i don't have to get my gf to step on this and that when i want to take photos of my car's back lights,,

Personally, I would not use it. I've had a habbit of using neutral when stopped, hills or flats, and use light brakes. This unloads the torque converter and stops heating the trans oil, especially at long lights and/or hot summer days on radiant tarmac.
.

Its working fine, just hit the brakes and push it a little harder and the HOLD function is born.

When on flat surface, the brake release is instant.
You don't have to find a hill to try, I use it while I'm waiting for the traffic light.

Important Edit: Basic "agility control" is on at least all new C-Class models. But, what I described was "advanced agility control" a special option, likely with package. See my post 45 for details, and thanks acr2001 for the correction

press brake , when the car is complete halt , press the brake even more and you will see it in instrument cluster "Hold" is engaged. then you can take your foot off the brake. My Start stop function also engages itself when the car is complete halt before I can even engage the "Hold"
On gear box I have S, C, and M. M is for shifting gears with flippers behind the steering wheel (paddles shift). Comes with AMG package.
The agility control is something different. You get an extra button on dash saying "SPORTS"
if you do not have a face lift then "Hold" will not work cose its not there. I had the 2008 model as well.

All C-Class models, 2012 and likely under, have "Agility Control" dampers (with automatic adjustment for running a long rough gravel rd vs smooth highway). What I meant to describe was "Advanced Agility Control" or "Dynamic Handling Package" with driver adjustable soft and very stiff modes, with interfaces as I had described. Not sure af the switchable AAC can be ordered w/o a wheel package (DHP).
Sorry about that, I'll edit my post, and thanks for reading it carefully !
