I just installed my HID kit and didn't have any problems. I wouldn't worry about a backup set. I doubt they would cost very much from the dealer if you ever need to replace them.

Much ado about nothing. Yes, if you need replacement dustcaps, I'm sure the dealer will sell them to you. The only markings/numbers on the back of the covers are "1 305 219 122 PP-TV40". Doesn't match the usual MB part number nomenclature, but like I said, the dealer should have no issues getting them for you.
Are you worried because you have warranty service coming up so are afraid they'll see your HID kit and deny coverage or something???

Here is a link to them on VIPGermanParts.com:
http://www.vipgermanparts.com/partlo...layCatalogid=0

It is for a 2011 c-class (if you need a different model or year, select it). Then just click on if you need a lowbeam cover, highbeam cover, or eyelid covers. (If you are doing HID you probably only need lowbeam covers unless you did the highbeams too. Those are right here direct link:
http://www.vipgermanparts.com/partlo...layCatalogid=0

You are looking at about $11.70 each (I believe it is just for one) - discounted from $19.50 each, kinda steep for a stupid plastic dust car cover if you ask me, dunno if it can be found cheaper...

Hmm, odd that the links stopped working. Anyways, you can still find them by going to the main site, vipgermanparts.com and selecting the appropriate options. But your link is also accurate and lists the same item. There is a picture too, and it shows the same part.
