How to apply Lamin-x
So I bought Lamin-x for my fog lights and installed it. I thought they were supposed to be pre-cut to the right size. But they were so large in diameter, that the outer part of the Lamin-x fit perfectly over the fog light housing and looked way too big to apply just to the bulb (and it would be impossible to reach in there anyway). So the outer diameter of the Lamin-X is on the housing, and the inner part is on the bulb, with the Lamin-x adhering to nothing over the space in between the light and the housing. Did I do this wrong? And, if so, will this work anyway? I figure if a rock hits the the part of the Lamin-x where it is adhering to nothing, I have even more protection from damage because it will just bounce off the lamin-x without even touching the car...

The grille around your foglights is easily removed with a torx bit (3 per side). The best idea is to remove the mesh (the chrome bezel is attached) and roll the edges of the film around the lenses. Replace the mesh and you're all set. Takes about 5 minutes.

You can but the adhesive probally wouldn't work out so well. I would reach out to Lamin-X directly and see if they will send you a replacement one.

Sportstick, yes, that's exactly what I did. It's not that noticeable so maybe I'll just stay with it if it stays on like that. On a separate note, I noticed when putting the Lamin-x on that the prior owner (who had the car for about a year) had a fog light replaced. Someone's making a ton of money on fog lights...
