NEED A SHOP IN VA !!!!!!!!!!!!!
So the shop that my 300is at said that the coil and f/r swaybar installation would run just under $2k. Seems they can't replace the rear coils without disassembling everything....that they need a special spring compressor which only the dealerships have...... This is not my first suspension....but my first MB suspension....are they out of their mind?
Anyone know of a shop in northern VA?

it is a pain to do the rear sways, u gotta get alot of stuff out of the way. As far as 2k, thats ridiculous if its just labor, if its parts and labor different story. And no theres no special spring compressor, theres a few different models and sizes but nothing MB special. U could rent one from autozone or pepboys probably. Go elsewhere if its 2k for install. here in NJ it would be less than half that price for everything

Yeah I figured it would be a tad higher with the rear sway bar install.......having to drop the subframe a bit......but I was blown away at that price. To make it clear....yeah...that's JUST labor.....

I work at a shop in Hampton Roads (Southeastern) VA. 2k does seem awfully steep just for labor for a swaybar job.

Thanks Mike... I'll call them tomorrow. I found AT Speed Motorsports in Hanover, MD and Autothority in Chantilly, VA. Prices were 950-1000 for all 3 parts installed and alignment.
