For Sale: 2011 C63 Smoked Tail-Lights/JL-Speed Diffuser

Please PM me for offers, looking to get these off my hands because I purchased the 2012 tails on my car, and these have just been sitting in my garage for roughly 2 months... includes the light bulb's and board, fully functioning, images attached, also getting rid of my C63 JL-Speed big fin carbon fiber diffuser, because i purchased a arkym diffuser, it is brand new, but it has about a quarter inch crack on the top located about a 4th in from the left of the diffuser, i'll take almost any decent low-ball offer for this because it is damaged, and is relatively a cheaper diffuser compared to the rest made for the C63, no pictures of that at the moment, because i forgot to snap some before my post, if interested in it, pm me as well, and i will show you images of it that i will take tomorrow, thank you guys

Pm the price of the diffuser, and with some pictures, I may be interested...

Also, will this fit a 2009 c300 4matic or is it c63 only?

EDIT: It appears it fits with C63 brackets, not a problem, please PM me with a reasonable price for the damaged diffuser, plus, since your in fort lee NJ and its across the river from manhattan, I can probably come and pick it up from you to save on shipping.

jimmy i still have the rear fog error, but it doesn't bother me that much, i cut the green wire on the driver side tail light harness, so that the fog stays off, otherwise it stays on... they look fine, people note the the 12+ the two bars stay lit and everything else stays off, whereas the way our tails were programmed, both bars are lit, but the bottom part whee the brake is located, remains dimmed and then brightens when you brake, the 12+ models just have the two bars, and then only when you brake the bottom shines, many claim they can get them to run like the 12+ but i haven't seen any help through the forum, i enjoy mine just the way they are

thats what I was gonna do, some type of modification of the wire harness. Do u have a dash warning cause of the cut wire or the lights? My 2nd cousin is the service manager at my local MB dealer, I thought maybe Id try to have the shop foreman reprogram them or at least try to do something w them. U happy with the look for the $$ spent?

According to my knowledge, if your car came with LED tail lights, you shouldn't get any error codes. If it didn't come with LEDs, you will get errors.

Also, the rear fog stays illuminated on the driver's side (regardless of LED or not). Additionally, the brake lights also stay partially illuminated, when they shouldn't be... All of the above needs to be reprogrammed with star developer package.

jctevere said it right jimmy, that is exactly the case with them, they can be programmed, I just have not had time to do so, so I cut the green wire on the harness to have the fog light off, but the error code comes up regardless if the wire is cut or not, so why have it on, if I'm going to have the error code regardless, I will be getting them programmed soon, but like I said I havent had the time, but my car came with led tail lights, (the one's im selling) and it still gave out the error codes, so I believe it need to be programmed regardless which tails you previously owned, as for the look i LOVE it.. a lot cleaner in the back! even though im not a 12+ with my diffuser it looks like some complete other packaged car, very mean! money well spent, i got them through parts.com, you can check the amg section of the forum they have a thread with the part #s and the cost, i think they were 400 through parts, i don't remember i have to check.

Any updates on the diffuser? Whenever you get a chance just send some pics and the price your looking to get. If we can come to an agreement I would like to get them soon so I can get them in time and/or around the holiday.

sorry for the delay guys! here are the shots of the diffuser, as you see the side with the crack gives a bit of a bulge, so it avoids it from being perfectly fit to the bumper, but this is only evident when seen from ground level, from the rest of the shots, you can only barely see the crack, but the alignment seems fine, sorry for the wait, thank you.

How are the tabs/clips on the diffuser? From the looks of it the fitment seems a little off on that side with the damage.

okaywow, pm sent

snarling, they are metal tabs that are shaped into a wedge and when they are pushed in the hold themselves in place, the alignment is good, but on the side of the crack there's no tab behind it, it's cracked between two tabs, that is why that small belly is shown, it's not as noticeable when you are looking at it from head point, but you can tell when you bend down, or directly above

Yeah, it really is a great deal, and I would have taken you up on it, but it appears I am upgrading to the new 2012 c-class and won't be able to use this diffuser (darn it!). I was planning on taking it and having it painted to match the car, and that way they can repair the crack too.

Not a bad idea for anyone thinking about it...

How much tint did you have on the taillights? I'm looking to smoke my taillights on my c63. Did you have any trouble with the cops giving you crap about them?
