SO I finally wrapped the stock diffuser today. I think it looks great! Will get more pics as soon as possible.

Not really. I have had a little skill from wrapping other things on my car such as the trim and I can say this was the easiest thing to wrap. nothing to it really. just make sure you use a lot of heat from a hairdryer and take your time. Tats all there is too it!

Thanks! Yea I just bought a 60x60 piece of vinyl(Does not need to be this big I just wrapped other things on my car) and used a utility knife and cut away at the seam where it meets the painted portion of the bumper. Not to hard.

Thanks! My car is the base c300 sport so it did not come with parking sensors. But if I am not mistaken, the parking sensors are located on the upper portion of the bumper, not the diffuser so it should not affect it, but I am not 100% sure.

My parking sensor is in the rear diffuser. (mine is c280 estate) therefore, I dunno wrap the rear diffuser would affect or not. BTW, really well done wrapping!

There is a 1080 gloss cf available via 3m out there. I wouldn't say the weave matches perfectly but its pretty damn close to the other weaves. All of these vinyl's are stated as outdoor vinyl and should last for about 5 years.

Yes exactly. I went with a 3d carbon fiber vinyl from metro restyling and its held up through snow, rain and heat so far.
