Lol, considering that no one really complains about them... Chances are your mirrors are not adjusted properly.
As a rule of thumb, you shouldn't be able to see the side of your car in your mirror unless you rotate your head towards it.
Check over your shoulders for cars in your blind spot and cars trying to merge into the same lane as you... and ffs don't tailgate when you check your shoulders.
You're not driving a bus. You don't need a wide angle mirror.

Might just be you. The mirrors on the W204 are like elephant ears. Hard to miss anything unless you're not adjusting them properly. Or a 2.ft 3in. lol
Seriously, I never had a noticeable issue.

Still, I never had a problem with a loaner. I actually prefer the position of the updated mirror.

Here is an article elaborating on what I mean when I say you shouldn't be able to see the side of your car in your side mirror.

Honest to god, you really really don't need a wide angle mirror.
Whenever I see people with those things on their passenger cars I pass them ASAP or get out of their way. Not only are those people so unsure of themselves and their ability to change lanes safely that they rely on some kind of auxiliary device, but they choose a convex mirror to further distort their depth perception while decreasing the useful field of view of the mirror.
Especially with the mirror you chose. Where you would ordinarily see the car that is in your blind spot, or event he car one lane over if you lean forward enough, now you have a convex mirror just ****ing with your head as to where that car really is.
p.s. the passenger's mirror in cars have that disclaimer on them because they are convex. The same should be assumed if you decide to go with the ebay mirror.

thanks,
I have stuck a small 2"X1" wide angle mirror on the bottom of the existing mirror & it works well for me.
IMHO I do not think you need to go to the expense of buying this large mirror.
The main thing is to eliminate any likelyhood of a blind spot. We are all different. Do what works for you.

Any ideas on a good small (maybe 1" x 1") blind spot mirror I can put on the driver's side in the lower left corner? That looks OEM? There is a big blind spot on this car because the driver's mirror cannot adjust outward enough such that you don't have redundancy in the mirrors.
