yeah, that's what I had suggested as well if the eyebrows were removed entirely, but don't think that'll fly.

As a matter of fact they do have several options for w210 including blacked housing, integrated halos, projector fogs, etc.

The only thing I don't like is the top eyebrow since they put the lower LED they should eliminate the top stock eyebrow. Would look a lot cleaner... Otherwise it has too much going on...

Would it be possible to connect the top eyebrow to the lower LED and use that when parking lights are on ?

The top eyebrow is already connected to the lower strip so they trigger on together. I agree that it might be one component too many which is why I'm exploring ways of hiding and eliminating brows entirely to see how it'd look. I'll tint it with film first to match main housing and if that looks good, I'll go ahead and spray it.

Man...you werent kidding when you said you draped over your seats to preserve the interior. Lol. But back to the point, they don't look that bad. But I do think it kinda looks busy with everything going on. I wish they had projectors for the high beams too.

Not too bad!

We need a solution for the BS stock reflector headlamps in the new 2012 W204s....put in a good word for those of us too impatient to order lighting package!

i like your original idea where as to get rid of the turn signal section and continue the led strip up to the corner, they could even wire the extra 4-5 led's to the turn signal, (make the led's amber) so only the bottom section of led is on during operation and then when the turn signal is engaged they would blink amber but during the day it would look cleaner. does that make any sense?

/agree

a bit clustered. I'd prefer it if they either removed the eyelid portion or even the lower led portion.

Maybe have them do the dual projector idea with black housing and the eyelid?

I can't help but think "to much going on" with the lower led strip there.

My ideal dream configuration would be do away with eyebrows entirely, black out the entire housing and use dual projectors for high and low beam, remove the turn signals, keep the bottom LED strip, but use switchback LEDs so they'd be white as DRL and flash white/amber when signal.

Probably not gonna happen lol

not unless you make them yourself!

Mehhhh they're growing on me slowly but I still think it's a bit busy. If I got em I'd probably just open them up and paint the turn signals black.

Would there be a way to paint the LED reflectors black as well? Visibility from the LED's aren't a concern for me. Just want everything to look smooth and clean (simple)

I would simply offer a version without the LED strip on the bottom at a slightly reduced price. those tentative to pull their stock headlamps apart to paint them would be interested.
such as myself.

To remove the LED strip would require some pretty major rework and it seemed clear that they'd listen to feedback as long as it did not severely impact production costs. Also simply removing the LED strip would leave you with in essence stock OEM headlights with just black housing which probably wouldn't mass sell as much as it'd be cheaper to just paint your oem ones black professionally. That's why I suggested removing eyebrows entirely so there'd be enough variation from what's currently available to make sales viable. It would be more a pseudo retrofit of 2012 headlights then on pre-facelifted models.

I do agree with painting the turn signal reflector black and good idea on the led reflector as well. As it stands, the reflector on the leds doesn't really do much as it's still pinpoint leds as opposed to a continual one piece strip effect so not sure if those reflectors are really even doing anything. This way when they're off, they look a part of the overall blacked out housing, giving the illusion of a cleaner less busy look by way of matching paint shade.

I don't think that's unreasonable and will bring it up with them.

Yea I don't think it'll be to much trouble to just paint the LED strip and turn signal portion. In fact it may even be cheaper not having to use reflectors and just mold it into the plastics. Adding dual projectors will probably drive the cost up so creating an option for dual and single would be a good idea for them with the single being their standard.

I see some on ebay listed at about $380 shipped. If we can get a forum price or GB price of around $300 or less I think they'd have a good amount of business. I for one would purchase right away if just the led strip and turn signal portions were painted black. Dual projectors I can do without but would look mighty cleaaannnn.

I'd nix the eyebrows and only have lower led strip. They would have to be 6k though. 4300k is for queers and steers haha

+1. This. Lol. Also, something that would work with P2 cars (with stock Xenons) would be nice. Not sure if this one does or doesn't off the bat though.

If they have any alternatives for fogs too I would be interested. Foglights keep dying on me as of late. P2 pack's corner illuminating fog function kills the life on them. Considering swapping everything out for LEDs, but I like the functionality of fogs. #firstworldproblems.
