2013 M5, Comes with M-SprintBooster
For those that think such a devise is without merit, BMW disagrees. It's a stock feature in the 2013 M5, as "sport throttle".

HAHAHAHA I cant believe theyre serious with that! What a joke. I would never buy an M5 for that reason alone! Its amazing that they absolutley couldnt make the exhaust any louder so they add a soundtrack? unbelievable...

From the same people who brought you the "openometer". I guess all the real options have been implemented so now people are left with these "great" ideas.

BMW's have a great reputation for performance, as does Mercedes, but not so much in production models. A silly, trivial audio thing would not prevent me from owning one of these performance monsters, if I had the $$$$$. To focus on this trivial noisemaker is what really is laughable.. Whatever gives you a giggle. ![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)

BMW has had something similar for a long time already. The E46 M had it, it was called "Sport" mode.
My E60 M has it, it's called changing between P500 and P500S.
It's nothing new. I have never and won't put on a Sprint Booster in any of my cars. On the track with my M5, I turn the car to P500 (the "normal" throttle sensitivity setting), it's easier to modulate the throttle. On the streets, P500S is fine.
agreed.

I do use both. But BMW engineered and offered this for the M5. Mercedes even has "Sport" mode on my C250 that does the same thing. I'm not putting an aftermarket box in just to make my throttle feel a tad bit more sensitive.

For those that have a SprintBooster, understand that you added a gas pedal response feature that's exactly like what BMW Engineers have built in the M5 as a 2 option switch for years (P500 & P500s). Now BMW will be offering a 3 position adjustment of pedal response in 2013 M5's, just like the current 3 position SprintBooster.
