Which color wheel for a Barolo Red Metallic C300?

how about a black wheel? looks good on red, I also really like color match on bright cars, red wheels r nice. Otherwise silver to match the trim

I would stick with silver, unless you have tinted tails, sidemarkers, windows etc. to tie it all together. Just my .02

I dont think black would look good on a burgandy colored car.

The only thing I have tinted are the windows. Side markers are clear for now.

Definitely not! I would never consider getting any kind of shade of black, gray etc. for my wife's Barolo Red Metallic C350. That just wouldn't look right.

Then again..., I've never been a fan of the black wheel craze , anyway, so I might be a bit biased here.

Just get a set of nice silver wheels and you are good to go.

Now to decide which ones. There are not alot of silver options.

Cant afford most of the rims out there.

What color do the call the stock wheels? I have the 17" 7 spoke wheels now.

First, let us congratulate each other on choosing a great color. I still see people stopping to look at my car, particularly when it's in the sun which reveals the metallic in the paint.

Silver is the clear choice for wheels for this color. Personally, I think the OE 18" AMG wheels are a good choice if you could find a perfect used set at a manageable price. And when it comes time to sell the car they will add more value than any aftermarket wheel. I use the original wheels for winter tires since they are not too attractive plus they are 17s. As wheel diameter increases, the ride is harsher and tire replacement costs rise. It used to be that for each one inch wheel diameter increase, add $100 per corner for tires. That number has probably increased.

I will be selling the 17's. No need for winter setup in TX. I dont really have time to wait and look for a set of OEM's. My tires are getting pretty bad and I dont want/need to buy a new set of tires.

There just doesnt seem to be many options in silver.

You could always go with some AMG knock offs from ebay, although a lot of people on here will tell you you should avoid them, there are still a lot of people running them. Other than the number of spokes, neither of those wheels looks anything like any real AMG wheel found on a W204.

That's why they're on ebay for $600 & $700. Not sure what his budget is, but he stated he "can't afford most of the rims out there" so I was giving him some cheap options.

Without a doubt, silver on Barolo Red. (assuming you're car has a stockish look.)

I want to stay under $1000. I would prefer to find something around $700-800.
