Looking at a used 2010 C300 sport. Options include, P1, panorama roof, burl walnut wood, 17" 5 spoke wheels, 23,000 miles, and CPO certified. Car is extremely clean.

Best price I can get is 27,999.

Is this good?

Lastly, I like how the 2011 has led running lights on the front, but I prefer the 2010 style bumper, as it looks more like the amg S550 front from 2008. Is there anything led on the 2010? And is there an easy way to add led to a 2010?

Thanks!

Sounds like a good deal to me, If you are happy with the car, and the dealer won't budge on the price anymore, go for it.

This does sound like a good deal. Is there a good service history? Any accidents?

Carfax says one owner, orignally bought at the Mercedes dealer it's at right now. I will be checking carfax and the service history today to make sure.

I really wish it had nav, but the car is just so sharp... hmm.

If you're going to accept the price, at least require that the dealer put you in touch with the original owner so you can talk about the car's history. The added information/peace of mind would be valuable.

As for nav, with Garmin and an Arkon vent mount sold on Amazon, I've been very satisfied for the last three years knowing I have far superior nav capabilities than what MB was building in. With that vent mount, the location is quite convenient for the few times I actually don't know where I am going.

Thanks will do... It's funny, I as told this car never came in stick. I just did a google search and it seems this car was offered in a stick!!! How rare is this? 2%? I'm assuming I'll never find a car close to me that used in a stick shift?

There are at least 9 2010 models listed for sale in Cars.com or AutoTrader.com. Since you don't list a bit more exact location than USA in your profile, you'll have to check them yourself if any of them would be somewhere close.

Require the dealer to disclose the previous owners personal contact information? From a confidentiality standpoint the dealer should NOT agree to this at all…And with 23K miles, CPO warranty, and the complete dealer history, there is little to nothing to gain even if you did bump into the original owner and discuss...

Good luck with your negotiation and welcome to the forum. ( I think the C350 was auto only, not the 300...)

In pa, but can't really travel far for a car. These must be pretty rare. I assume all of the sticks are 4 matic?

Do you really like it? I read someone found it noisier than a "standard" sunroof.

Ok, awd/4matic is a requirement, so I guess that leaves out the 6 speed.

On the pano roof, I don't think it's noiser, I drove one that didn't have it too. I do think it looks great will the steel gray exterior! Thanks again for all the comments!

Just for the hell of it I just went on autotrader.com and searched for 2008 and newer manual C300's within a 200 mile radius of Trenton, NJ (right across the bridge from PA - I do realize PA is huge..) and there are 14 cars for 28 grand or less with manual trans...What is your zip code?

17111. But the poster above said manuals don't come in 4matic so that's the only bad thing...

While your concern is noteworthy, car dealers do not fall under HIPAA to my knowledge and their is no privilege to the car dealer/owner relationship. But, from the point of view of courtesy, this is simply a matter of the dealer calling his customer and asking if they would speak to a prospective new owner. I've had a dealer do this, and all parties were glad to cooperate. I also think there is much to be gained, as cars have individual histories which are not totally reflected in ROs, and even develop individual quirks. If one is more involved with their car, more information is always desirable.

It is about 2%, actually. Mine was trucked in from a dealer 5 states away. The stick was dropped as part of this year's refresh, so they are instant classics.

Ok, again, thanks for all the replies. Just bought!

Steel Gray, black interior, P1 package, pano roof, walnut burl option (really pops with the black leather), and 17" 5 spokes. Carfax was clean, service history - nothing out of the ordinary. Again, it was bought new from this dealer and traded on new one.

It's a looker! I think a nice light tint will set it off nicely. Maybe I should take a few pics?

I really like Steel Gray. They didn't have a Steel Gray with the options I wanted. I ended up with my second choice of ext color, Palladium Silver...

That's nice, but that one has double the miles, is a year older, no cpo, and doesn't have black leather. Not a bad deal for someone, just not me. I wanted around 20k miles.
