After 5 months, I finally picked it up today
Well, after a 5 month wait - I picked my car up at about 12:30 today. Euromotorcars Germantown and Jim Pratt did an amazing job getting everything taken care of quickly and getting me out the door.
The car is phenomenal. I'm personally a firm believer in a proper break-in, but I am finding it hard to behave. I had to stand on the pedal once earlier to get out of the way of a fire engine, and so far from what I can tell I love it.
Sapphire Grey does not photograph well - it's got more of a greenish cast to it than the pics show - I personally really like it. I think it pairs well with the Ash interior.
The lighting package was totally worth the wait for me. I went out for a drive about an hour ago, and the intelligent high beams work well on long dark exit ramps and the like.

So that's what the ash interior looks like in W204s. A whole lot different color than the Ash is W203s. My daughter's W203 has Ash and it is much more blueish.

Congrats...very clean ride. The interior is sweet. From the pictures, it looks really close to my wife's Palladium C250 coupe...from MBUSA they make it seem that the Sapphire has a greenish hue to the silver and the Palladium has a brownish hue.
Whatever the case, it looks sharp. Enjoy it in good health!

In sunlight, the Sapphire has enough green in it to me that it almost looks green and not grey.
It's certainly a very interesting color.

I ordered the lighting package on my car. I'm not sure if it is that way any more - but the lighting package was in limited supply (MB was only producing so many cars/week with the package).
Basically, I could have had it a lot sooner but refused to compromise on getting exactly what I wanted. The lighting package is well worth the wait if you can do it - High Beam assist is awesome, and the lights look amazing.

It even looks different than the ash (or whatever the name was) from earlier W204's. My father had a 2008 C300 w/ an ash interior; it was a distinctly grey color. The current ash looks more like off-white (and it's MUCH nicer, IMHO).

I've really come to love the contrast between the seats/light trim and the black carpet/headliner. Almost everyone who has been in my car has commented on that as well.

Very nice. Pleased you waited for the lights. I agree - I like the colour but it is difficult to capture in a photograph.
