2010 Calcite C300 with AMG Sports Package
Thats actually a 'Statesman Caprice' built in Australia. A Holden / GM product.
As it appears to be a left hand drive it's one that been built for the export market places like the Middle East / UAE.
It's also exported to the US in the for Highway Patrol / Cruiser duties. From what I have read elsewhere it has been accepted and should be seen on the roads in some of the US states. Comes in both V6 and V8

Yup. So far I haven't seen any, though... As a long time GM fan, I would definitely like to see the Caprice take some share from the Chargers and Tahoes.

Yes but the basic W204 was known when it was styled.
Holden turns it's styling very quickly - short gestation. Honda do all the plasticware for them.

Ahhh but the Caprice would not achieve 5.5 litres / 100 km as my C did today.!!

I was so surprised that all the basic elements were the same when i saw this, not sure who copied who, but the entire front end is derivative, the emblem, the center grill, the lower fascia and fogs, and even the headlight design down to the eyebrows was lifted

When compared side by side in the flesh, they do look quite different. but yes, lol, there are a lot of simularities.
My parents have the Holden Commodore, current model. I can testify that even the w203 feels a lot more quality and drives better than the Chev.
